Summary: Get a life!
Review: What a whiner! The main character is too self-absorbed, has too much money and too much free time. She's bored with herself, her husband and her life. She certainly bored me!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Ten stars, actually.
Review: The Pull of the Moon is so beautiful; so grounded and yet poetic. I love Berg, think she is simply brilliant. Moon was given to me as a gift recently, and after reading it I read all of her other books. The woman is simply amazing. If you've never read her, you should.

Summary: IT WAS LIKE SHE SAW INTO MY SOUL
Review: This book hit home so closely - everything I'm feeling and thinking was expressed in the pages of Nan's journal and in the letters to her husband. The sentence where she said she would be going about normal everyday things, but be screaming inside. Sometimes I scream so loud inside my head, I can't believe no one hears me. I read this book in one sitting and will probably re-read it again someday.

Review: If you're looking for something introspective, this is definitely the book for you. It was the moving story of a 50-year old woman finding herself and dealing with getting older.

Summary: A must for any married woman that is "hanging in there".
Review: I enjoy all of Berg's books. Pull of the Moon is special to me, in that it accurately depicts fellings many married woman have about their not perfect and insenitive husbands. I like that she wrote her husband letters, reminding him of moments that helped her decide to do the things she does. There are something he can hold and read over and over, rather than letting it go in one ear and out the next. I found this book humerous and sweet. Makes you want to go fill up the gas tank and sit on an expressway ramp to anywhere.

Summary: I'll read the rest of this author's work.
Review: The time it took to read this book was too short; I wanted to spend more time with Nan feeling validated and 'un-wrong' by her observations and comments.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: wonderfully written by a soul mate
Review: A brief period of time in a changing womans life Leaving her home and husband to find the self she forgot for so long. A great read.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: From the first line, I knew this book was a winner
Review: Finding a book that not only entertains but speaks to you in your own tone is difficult to come by. It's rare to find a book that searches a woman's soul and delivers it with such simplicity. Berg has masterfully written a novel that explores the life of women... the mundane, the joys and the realization of what life really holds. Berg's writing style is personal, intimate and a pleasure to read. Loved it!
