Summary: It was a good book
Review: I enjoyed this book although I have pretty high standards after reading "The Coldest Winter Ever" so I wasn't thrilled to pieces. The story line kind of confused me at first then i caught wind of the style. I enjoyed the raw depiction of the characters lives. I would recommend this book to those who liked "The Coldest Winter Ever" by Sistah Souljah.

Summary: HOT HOTT HOTTT
Review: When I selected this book I was already expecting it to be righteous, I mean face it Teri Woods had something to do with this and her book was off the burner. Shannon Holmes puts it to you from the very first word to the very last period. This is a work of life and how many lives evolve around money, power, and envy. We watch as Netta goes full circle, we see Mimi's complete fall, and Black lived and died the same on his terms! I read this book in a single sitting and whenever someone asks me, "what's good out?" this is always the first book I talk about. Shannon I am seriously awaiting your next book.

Summary: B-more careful how you spend your money
Review: This must be one of the worse books that I've ever read, it truly was a waste of time. I read one review that compared it the "The Coldest Winter Ever"--well, know that B-more Careful is by no stretch of the imagination a formidable opponent for Sister Souljah's talent.
My middle school students can turn out better fiction than this.
For those of you that thought this was an excellent piece of literature it is obvious that you have not read much. You should start with a little Zora Neal Hurston (Their Eyes were watching God), followed by some Langston Hughes, and don't forget California Cooper.

Summary: VERY GOOD TO THE LAST DROP!
Review: This was a very interesting and reality touching book. I hope that some of these young girls out here looking for these drug dealing men would take a hard look at what they are getting into.

Summary: B-MORE CAREFUL REVIEW
Review: THIS BOOK B-MORE CAREFUL WAS VERY GOOD AND TRUTHFUL, BEING A STUDENT IN BALTIMORE I'VE SEEN ALOT THAT WAS MENTIONED IN THIS BOOK AND THAT THE DRUG-LIFE ISNT ALL THAT GOOD THERE ARE CONSEQUENCES WHEN YOU DEAL WITH THE WRONG PEOPLE AND THIS BOOK SHOWED THAT.
I READ THIS BOOK ABOUT THREE TIMES AND I SUGGEST TO ANYONE WHO IS A FAN OF SHANNON HOLMES

Summary: B-More Careful
Review: B-More Careful was a really good book, but I still think that True To The Game was better. I really enjoyed both of them.

Summary: Peep This!!!!!
Review: If you enjoyed True to The Game, you will surely like B-More Careful. B-more careful is a hot newer version of true to the game in my eyes. Its about a girl named shanetta (a.k.a Netta), who grew up in the inner city part of Baltimore... Growing up was hard for her. The women that lives down stairs form her and her mother would very often take care of shanetta. So often that shanetta looked at her as her own mother. he women was Miss Mae. Miss mae taught netta right from wrong, and how to spell her name. Basically evertthing she wanted to know,Miss Mae taught her. Tragically when netta was 10 years old Miss Mae was a victim of a robbery and rape. She died at the hospital. Netta's romodel died and her heart was crushed... As she grew older she had to learn how to fend for herself. So netta would steal clothes and food. As she grew older she met a girl named mimi. Mimi had a baby at age sixteen. Sher mother and daddy had divorced and one of her twin brothers dead and the other in jail doing a life sentence. netta dosent realize playing with fire you will get burned.
