Review: Ever wonder what it would be like to live in your own fantasy...to stretch the limits of the mind and imagination...to live in your own world, control what happens, and never have to come out? The people of Veelox do. Veelox is a world much like Earth with water, normal food, and everything except for one detail: it's deserted! Inhabitants of Veelox have found a way to enter their own personal dream realm, while their bodies lie in stasis. Almost no one lives in reality anymore except for the few people who watch over them. One of the few inhabitants left in reality has decided to take matters into her own hands. 18 year old Aja Killian has created a virus that will make the fantasy experience less than perfect. The enemy on Veelox is perfection.15 year old Bobby Pendragon is the main character and is the traveler from Second Earth. He is the head traveler and it is standard procedure to call the head traveler when something happens to a territory so Aja calls and that is how our protagonist gets to Veelox. Overall Pendragon: Reality Bug was an excellent book. It follows up real well with the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd books Pendragon: Merchant of Death, Pendragon: The Lost City of Ffarr, and Pendragon: Never War. If you have not read the rest of the books than you should not read this one or you will be totally lost. The novel has a good strong story from the beginning to the end and has a lot of action. At first Aja and Bobby are butting heads and later they soften towards each other. Aja decides to go with Bobby's decision to show him around Veelox so he can get an idea of what is happening, Aja puts Bobby into Lifelight. The people of Veelox get into their fantasies through Lifelight. While in Lifelight he finds his fantasy of being back on Second Earth perfect. Later in the book he goes back into that same fantasy and discovers what the Reality Bug does when quigs end up in his fantasy. Also the story goes where you don't expect, which is exciting because you are always on the edge of your seat waiting for what is going to happen next. When Aja says that she will just purge the Reality Bug and that it will be easy Bobby rests and goes to get cleaned up, so naturally I thought that the story was almost done, but when Bobby Pendragon returns and he finds out that they need the origin code. The only problem is the one person who knows the origin code hasn't been seen in over 40 years. I think that there is some room for improvement in creativity. Even though the book was excellent it lacked creativity in Bobby's fantasy. His fantasy was him at home and at a basketball game. D.J MacHale (the author) could have made it more unique like Bobby being on a different territory or something that Bobby dreams of doing. I think that the whole Pendragon series is absolute genius. Although I would not recommend it for readers under 10 years of age due to violence and some language. If you are willing to take a flume ride through time and space you'll find you can't put the book down. Hobey-ho.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Another Great Book Review: Here is another Great and exciteing book by D.J. MacHale. I think that it is probably the best one yet. This fourth book opens up many new doors and possibilitys for books to come and also adds many ideas. Its really great but the only way to really enjoy it is if you read the other 3 so make sure you do that first over all I loved it and cant wait for #5 Dave
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: Greatest Yet Review: I have just started reading the Reality Bug and I think it is the best one in the series so far. I really like that Mark and Courtney have a bigger part in this book. I think they are a really important part of the story and I like to read about them. Plus, I think Veelox is a really cool territory and I can't wait to learn more about it. If you haven't read these books, you are missing out.
Rating: ![3 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-3-0.gif) Summary: The Fourth Book Review: I like the whole Pendragon series. All of the books are great. But this one I would have to say is my least favorite. I like the new characters like Aja and Dr. Zetlin. It's just that the whole idea of Virtual Reality seemed cool until you got into it. It seemed that when Bobby went into virtual reality the setting of it all was just a big mess from all the territories into one place. It could get really confusing at points and just sort of weird. Good book to read, but definetly not the best.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Matrix type book.... Review: I liked this book because it had a nice twist from the other Pendragon books. The only thing I didn't like is the fact that is was a lot like the Matrix. Other than that it was well plot out and an over-all good book. To show you how good it is, it was the book that I read the fastest in my life.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: d (^-^) b thumbs up (^_^) Review: i thought that the reality bug was just as good as the others and it was eally interesting and unexpected, like that it has a lot of suspense
Rating: ![3 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-3-0.gif) Summary: Not as good as the previous 3 but still worth reading. Review: I was slightly disappointed with "The Reality Bug." It seemed to start out slow and didn't get really exciting until somewhere the middle. I've come to care about the characters and felt almost obligated to press on, it's what kept me turning the pages in the beginning. I've really enjoyed this series and am really looking forward to the next adventure.
