Summary: Definitely not for the faint at heart!
Review: A cool book, to put it simply. But one may have to read it twice or more just to have a good understanding of the text. I know I did.

Summary: A descriptive, easier to follow, book on Nietzschean ideals.
Review: If your looking for a book that adequately explains Nietzschean philosophy than this one is for you. Zarathustra is likened to a tenacious and witty teller of how to build ones own character and rise above the herd as only Nietzsche can describe. The translater gives the reader summaries of each ideal prior to the four sections as well as a decent bio on Nietzsche.

Summary: Nietzsche is great
Review: Some of the greatest philosophy ever written is by Nietzsche and although the style in Zarathustra is different the power and credibility of his ideas does not suffer-Simply an amazing piece of work

Summary: Makes me feel like a Dionyssian angel......
Review: More than anything, it was a feeling that Zarathustra inspired. This book effectively communicates that life is a song and a dance. That everything is goodness, and that it could never be any less. Even when Zarathustra walked through the valley of death it was merely a prelude to something greater. His shadow that he leaped over, that shadow that will always remain behind him....his friends and animals that were waiting at the cave. The fool at the city gate who warned of entering the city but did not leave himself. Move on, forward, upward.....

Summary: Unreadable ye's and thou's
Review: I hate to give Thus Spoke Zarathustra less than five stars in any form, but Common's translation is just unreadable. For a more readable (and better) translation use Kaufmann's version. Despite this, Zarathustra is Nietzsche's masterpiece and one of the greatest books of all time!

Summary: Nietzsche Changed My Life!
Review: It is impossible to sum up the human experience in any book, no matter how long, but Nietzsche came very close with this book. After I read it, my life has changed-for the better. You may not agree with everything he has to say, but he commands your respect. It is simply amazing!

Summary: You need to buy this book!
Review: "God is Dead!" "Man must become better and more evil." "Who poses the greatest threat to mankind; is it not the good and the just?" "I teach you the overman. The overman is the meaning of the earth."

So many phrases! This book is a must read for anthing that lives. It is hard to understand many, many times, but persevering will be very rewarding. Also, the quotes are not what they may seem at first.

Summary: Sublime
Review: This work hits me like a lightning bolt. Nietzsche's insight is immeasuarbly deep. It is right, even when bile rains; it is, that it is. The profundity here almost brings tears.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: NIETZCHE IS BRILLIANT!
Review: ITS HARD TO EXPRESS THIS BOOK TO YOU. I'LL MESS IT UP FOR YOU IN THE PROCESS SO JUST READ IT OK. READ IT AND JUDGE FOR YOURSELF. A MUST READ FOR ANYONE WITH A BRAIN!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Nietzsche is my messiah
Review: Nietzsche is the messiah of the modern philosophical eon. Nietzsche looks god in the eyes and says you are dead! and god falls to his knees...
