Review: I first heard about this release at the site www.theprp.com (a music (metal) news site) and I instantly checked it out. And I loved it! It was absolutely amazing. Tankian's statements make you think. And I feel if you are a lover of good poetry, you NEED to check this out.

Review: I have the limited edition of this book, and it's amazing! From four lines about farting to a two-page rant about the US government. It's a must-read. You won't regret it!

Summary: Expressive poetry that rocks
Review: I listen to System of a down and they have the greatest lyrics i've ever heard. The lead singer Serj Tankian wrote this book over a 10 year period writing very expressive poetry. It has inspired a lot of people including me. I really think you'll like this book of poetry. It is political yet imaginable.

Summary: Don't just buy this book because you love SOAD
Review: Okay, I appreciate the music and sound of System of a Down; however, this book actually makes me question that. This is really poor poetry. Examples of this are such lines as "you give good he*d" and the following full poem.
"A Metaphor?"
"Every time I fart, of late, I feel the excretory juices of my feces, squishing and squashing between my butt cheeks, However I have no desire to wipe my *ss, anymore. A metaphor?"Inspiring, no? To me, Serj comes across as sexist throughout the book. It really seems he has no idea about the gender he so badly wants to man-handle. Not to mention the horrible artwork in this book! On almost every page there is some grotesque vagina, which just pushes the sexism issue. For instance, on the same page as the masterpiece I quoted above, there is a picture of a crazy-scary vagina with teeth. Folks, the book is published by MTV for crying out loud! If it was not for his star status, Serj would have never had this book published.

Summary: an all around awsome book
Review: Serj should be heard by everyone around the world. His poems are amazingly good and correct about life in general. I have the specail edition one (cause sej signs it woohoo) and i keep it close to my bed so i can read his poems before i sleep. A must read by all.

Review: Serj Tankian is a very creative lyric writer so you can expect his book to be very good. Serj talks about the last 7 years of his life so you can get insight of how he gets his great lyrics, and hear him express him self in poetry. I haven't read this book yet but im looking forward to it.

Review: Serj Tankian,has to be the most talented man in the world! There really isn't words to describe this book. His writings are great! I think that everyone, even non-system fans should buy this book if you really appreciate good poetry,and writings.What else can I say? He's Armenian!
