Summary: TOO DETAILED TO BE ANYTHING BUT THE TRUTH...
Review: When I began reading this work two years ago I was at best sceptical as to it's authentisity, but now that I have completed it I, as a layman, would no longer question that point. The vivid descriptions of people, places and things go far beyond what one could imagine. The painstaking detail of conversations that took place between Jesus, His Apostles, and all of the Biblical charecters that have been with us for centuries are beautiful. The New Testement could never have been this detailed without tripling the size of the Bible. If you have the time I would highly recommend The Poem of the Man-God.

Summary: THIS WORK IS A SPIRITUAL MASTERPIECE
Review: When I went to America from Australia to be trained as a traditional Catholic priest, I already had a great love for the Holy Bible. After taking the advice of the seminary Rector, now Bishop Richard Williamson (see his letters on the web via SSPX UK org) I read the Poem of the Man-God, and it was the greatest enlightenment on the Sacred Scriptures possible. My love for Christ and His Blessed Mother rose with each reading, and now 12 years later, I am past halfway of my third reading of the complete five volumes. Nothing is like it. Get it and read it!

Summary: Must have for both believer and non-believer
Review: Whether one is a believer in Jesus, or not, this book will make many things clear that are in the Gospels but are fuzzy or not apparent to most of us. Reading Maria Valtorta's narrative of the Life of Jesus, one cannot help but seriously consider that the book authentic. It makes the Gospels come alive in a way that I had never imagined. Believers will be strengthened in their faith and non-believers will have something more to think about. It's a win-win situation for all, I heartily recommend it to all!
