are in the process of reading these books and the Brotherhood of War series. " A soap opera ?" I think not.You had to be there to understand. It is the closest thing to experiencing it all over again. A must read. Very detailed.. Very good writing on Griffins part. I bought them all.

Review: The best years of my life were the years I served in the U.S. Navy. This book deals with people in the USMC; nevertheless the story takes me back to my days in the Navy. Griffins protagonist is certainly an interesting fellow. I like how he shows us his flaws, none of the superhero mumbojumbo. A great read and I will certainly continue to read more of his works.

He adn his buddies always had interesting dialouge to keep you interested. I gave this book five stars because it a well rounded book.

Review: This book sets you up to read the other books in this series. The only problem is that my copy s after getting dog eared from being read. It gives you an insight into the workings of the USMC like no book has ever given before.
