Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Wonderfully arousing and informative Review: The Slave by Laura Antoniou is the second book in a series of erotic fiction books on BDSM. I started the series with the second book becuase the first one is back ordered and although I ordered it, I didn't to wait on it. Having finished The Slave, I'm glad I didn't wait. This is one of the best books I've ever read, certainly the best book about BDSM I've read. Robyn, a young girl confused about her sexuality, finds her passion is to live as a full time slave, completely dominated by a master, available to her master for anything demand, sexual or non sexual. As well as providing graphic descriptons of sexual activities, the book also explores the lifestyle of a slave, and it's possible benefits and pitfalls. I recommend you read this book, whether you are into BDSM or not.

Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: Diving in and going under Review: This one kept me up well past my bedtime, because I just had to know what was coming next. Yes, the sex was plentiful and lush and hot but -- well, there was a STORY in there. Robin was a full character, a flesh-and-blood person walking around. I liked her, I worried for her, and I definately want to know more about her. All of Laura Antoniou's books I've read thus far had the same effect on me -- I have to read them all at once, and I find myself rereading sections (not necessarily the sex scenes either, isn't that weird?) because these people WORK. The writing is strong, uncompromising, even commanding. What's more, it's THERE and INTERESTING. I find her inspiring as a writer, not just an erotic/genre writer.

Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: best in the series Review: This one was out-of-print when I tried to get it the first time, so I read it after The Trainer. It was quite a relief to find out why Chris was so freaked out in The Trainer. This book's main character, Robin, is the most sympathetic of all the submissive characters in her books. It is an in-depth view into the internal experience of a submissive woman, and one of the most accurate fantasy portrayals of what SM actually feels like. No wonder Chris fell in love with her, who wouldn't? Unless it was because they were busy being in love with Chris!
