Review: I listened to this book on tape and am going to buy a copy to have, re-read, highlight, reference, and give to friends. It came to me at a particularly rough time in my life and truly will be one of those "life-changing" books.

Summary: I wanted more when I got to the end!
Review: This book was written with my life in mind. I couldn't put it down. Every instance in this character's life is a mirror of my life, with the exception of meeting Joe on His Harley. Although at one time in my life there was a "Joe," he certainly was not the God in this book. This book drew life into my soul when I thought I'd totally given up on God. The very next day after reading it I called in work for a vacation day, I had to take care of my body. I'm cutting back on hours, I'm going through my closets and getting rid of the clutter in my life, getting rid of material things that will never have any value to anyone but me, and those things are constant reminders of a life past. Anyone who doubts there aren't miracles in life should read this beautifully inspiring fable. It's quite possible that someday "Joe" may ride up to me and I won't be so afraid to fall in love, with Him.

Summary: Full of fantastic messages for all of us
Review: I was given this book after I had surgery and at a time when I was reading everything I could get my hands on.I must admit the title and opening pages made me stop and wonder if I wanted to go on with this story. But, believe me I am very glad that I did. It is a beautiful and simplistic story that is easy to read and that many of us can relate to. The most important thing to say though is that the messages that this book contains are real, full of meaning and I think can give a lot of hope, reason and enlightenment to all of us.

Summary: Extremely uplifting and spiritual
Review: I have been in a 12 step program for 15 years and always need to renew my faith. This book not only renews your faith, but shows you the steps to have a complete and fulfilling life. I have just finished reading it and am in awe. I can't recomend it enough to my friends and family and will be buying many copies for gifts. It is definitly a book that I will re-read over and over. I has made me take a look at what is important in my life and to have the courage to go after it. It also reaffirms my favorite Footprints prayer that we are never alone. We just have to believe. I can't wait to read more of her books and hope Ms. Brady continues to write.

Summary: Wonderful, positive, uplifting. Wish I had read long ago.
Review: This should be required reading for all women from teenagers through 99. Thought provoking, inspirational, easy reading and just hard to put down from the beginning. I will read this book many, many times - maybe every 3-4 weeks for awhile. Since reading I have purchased several as gifts for others. My 35 year old daughter gave me this as a gift and it is one I will cherish always.

Summary: Absolutly lovely tale that I wish were true
Review: I fell in love with this book the first time I read it three years ago. It caught my attention at the checkout stand at the grocery store, and has held me captive ever since. I think by now I have read it at least 7 times, and every time I go through it again, something else pops out at me and is so true. It has made me see my life in different terms, and hopefully will straighten me out someday soon. It seems like my life mirrors hers, and I wish Joe would come visit me and straighten out my life. I'm still waiting for him to show up. =)

Review: Have you ever read a book where you felt it was written just for you? This book touches the heart of every woman. It speaks to the wonderous, precious young girl we once were. This book rekindles the dreams of childhood and the magic of the dreams long put away due to life's dissapointments. It reminded me that God loves me. He is and always will be with me. I am paying much more attention to "the moment" now. Thank you Joan for this most amazing book! A must have!

Summary: There is something of Christine in any woman
Review: I recommend this book to any woman I meet who currently has a problem in her life (and even to those who don't at this particular moment). Though I personally found Christine to be more aggressive than myself, I still related to most of her issues. This book gets to the core of alot of problems we run into in our lives and WOW if only we could all meet "Joe". Through the words in this book, I believe we do meet him in our own special way. What a wonderful, meaningful book.
