Summary: Incredibly moving, must share, story about all of us!
Review: The first time I read this book was several years ago at the recommendation of a friend. I had no idea I was in for such a life-changing read - after all I was skeptical about God and Harley in the title. I own a Harley so of course I was intrigued. This book, this author, seemed to know exactly what I felt in my own life - I became Christine - she acted almost exactly as I would have from the reasons she moved to the apartment to moving to the beach (which I had done) and of course her men relationships. After reading the book several times and passing it around to my friends I was thinking about my two friends who are religious and because of them I ended up at this certain place in time. I remember finding a $50 bill on the sidewalk and thinking how remarkable that was - never happens to anyone I know and I had just spent $50 on a used TV (pretty risky). Anyway, that night as I lay in bed thinking about it I decided to look at the serial number and see if it had any B's or 11's in it. Those were the numbers Joe told Christine to remember and led her to the ad for the beach house. I was amazed and got goosebumps to see B's and 11's all over that 50$ bill. I feel CERTAIN I was getting my message from "Joe".

Summary: Should be required reading for all women!
Review: Have you ever read a book that moved you in such a way that you were challenged to change your life? this is that sort of book. For every woman who has lost her way and just knows there is something more out there.

Summary: Beautiful words....
Review: This is the best book I have read in a long time! It is a warm and loving view of how God works in our lives each and every day. Joan Brady should be on the staff of "Touched by an Angel."

Summary: A book for people of all faiths!
Review: I'm Wiccan and despite the title, I was intrigued enough by the description to listen to the audio book. It had such a profound effect on me, despite the fact that my beliefs aren't the "accepted beliefs in God". The concept of any Higher Power guiding us is the essential basis of any religious beliefs. I loved the personalization of "Joe" coming to Christine to guide her in the way she needed to be guided. It made me realize that in my own way, I was being guided just by having "found" the tape. I'm buying the book for me and all my friends! As single women of the 90's, we need all the guidance that we can get!

Summary: Excellent, touching, moving.
Review: I could not put the book down. Had to finish in one sitting. When done I felt so good inside. I had to share with everyone. The book has been passed from one friend to another. After 3 months of being passed around I finally have possession of this marvelous book. Thank you for seeing God in this light.

Summary: Being a novel, it seems so real ! Makes you wonder . . .
Review: It changes your life completly. This book was written with the "reader" as the protagonist. I felt like the book was made for me ... Great conversations that changed my life. I was moving to the beach and even re-organizing my closet (enough of being full with cothes that I did not use!) Definetly a book for everyone to read !

Summary: Wonderful and fullfilling ... a gift from a Higher Power
Review: Thanks Joan, for this gift to all of us. Thanks for having the courage to write it. My life has changed. I view this book as a direct message to me from a Power Greater than myself. He is real to me in ways I never imagined would be true. Interestingly enough, my life seemed to take on the same steps that you followed in the book.... without my even realizing it. Thank you again. Hope to meet you someday ... if not here then ... in the hereafter! This is truly a gift to us all from Him. Thanks for being the messenger.

Summary: It started out sort of corny, but got better the more I read
Review: I wasn't sure I was going to like reading the book when I first started it, but the more I read, the more I got into it. The commandments that Joe gave to Christine are things we all should remember as we live our daily lives, especially the one about living in the moment. The book left me with a warmed heart and a fresh outlook on my own life.

Summary: Very spirtiual and enlightening while being an easy read
Review: As a member of Lois W.'s 12 step program, I loved the spirituality of this book and its simplicity. It was simple and easy to read, yet contained thought provoking ideas. I was bothered by the fact that the author skipped over commandment five, a major one to discuss in detail, and just skimmed commandment six. If she didn't know how to cover them, omit them or write a longer book as it is only a 147 pages. Because of my spiritual background the other ones were refreshing reminders of my daily program. I was very interested in the author's ideas on these last two and felt cheated as the rest of the book was quite good. My suggestion rewrite it and include these two as they are very important "commandments".

Summary: Fun story but heavily flawed--covers only 4 of 6 points.
Review: God takes the emotionally and spiritually bankrupt protagonist on a journey that teaches self-love and authentic living. God, who takes the form of a kind biker, gives the main character six lessons. Unfortunately, the author completely omits the explanation of the fifth lesson (a BIG one) and barely mentions the sixth lesson. I found the story entertaining for a while but was disappointed and confused at the end because of the story's incompleteness.
