Summary: I Can't Wait to Pass this Along to My Friends
Review: Admittedly, I was initially turned off by the title. My cousin lent me her copy during my stay at her house. I purchased my own copy on Amazon the next day.

This was such a lovely fable, filled with relevant life philosophies we all can adopt to make our days more pleasant, beautiful, and fulfilling. Its messages are universal. (Don't let the reference to God throw you. This is more of a "spiritual" than a "religious" text.)

The key to this book is in the quality of the message, rather than the sophistication of the prose. This being the case, you should expect somewhat unsophisticated language and a large typeface. However, I think the book's simplicity is what makes it so charming and accessible.

I can't wait to pass this along to all of my friends.

Summary: Vessel of Infinite Wisdom
Review: This book has got to be one of the best I have EVER read!! A girlfriend of mine loaned me her copy once when I was on the verge of major burnout from job, school, family, everything and I was hooked immediately. There is so much knowledge in this little book that it's unreal. I bought my own copy shortly after I read it for the first time. About 2 years ago, I gave my tattered and very well-loved & read book to another girlfriend who was having some major issues. As much as I hated parting with it, I knew she would benefit more than if I had kept this book. Share the knowledge and help make the world a better place. Kudos to Ms. Brady for writing such an amazing book that we can learn from and love for years to come whenever life seems to be getting out of hand... Excellant reading material!!!

Summary: A Needed Message
Review: I borrowed this book from a friend who had received it as a gift but had not read it. The story of a woman at a cross roads of her life, low in self-esteem and confidence, when she meets a guy riding a Harley Davidson. The 'guy' turns out to be He, Himself, and the way Joan Brady goes about unfolding the story of how this woman is guided, instructed and helped by God really made me think hard about how I relate to God and how I expect God to manifest in my life.

The book is not a heart throb romance, or a gripping murder mystery, and it isn't even that well written. But this book caused me to wonder, evaluate and open my mind to other possibilities. Anything that causes me to think I say is worth reading. It's a good book and I would recommend it highly.

Summary: Not for the weak
Review: I received this book in the mail from a person who said it changed her life. Unfortunetly, like many others, she is unable to distinguish what is real and what is not

First off, it reads like one of those cheap harliquin romance novels that are written for teenagers. Second, the characters have no depth. They are as shallow as characters on soap operas. And lastly, a fictious story should never change your life or the way you think, if you are using your brain the way it was meant to be used.

I think Amazon.com should have a no-star rating, because that's what I would have given this waste of paper.

Summary: A Modern Fable
Review: Boy, I wish people didn't compare this book to the Celestine Prophesy, I didn't like that one at all...

This book is wonderful for anyone (woman or man, tho I think the intended audience is women) needing encouragement and self esteem.

I wrote down the six commandments from the book for myself and I'm passing the book on to a friend with instructions to pass it on when they're done with it (sorry, Amazon... less sales that way, but it's THAT kind of book). ;-)

Enjoy.

Summary: A Spiritual Experience For Everyone!!
Review: This book came to me at a time when constant change was happening in my life. It helped me to put my life in perspective and discover who and what I am. It also gave me a closer "feeling" and "relationship" with my spiritual side and God. Go on this journey and find yourself. You'll never regret it!!

Summary: Can't Put it Down
Review: This book reads like a biography for any woman over thirty searching for love. It describes the bittersweet realities of life and relationships. This is a spiritual self-help book disguised as fiction. A powerful and interesting tale, written so well, that you can read it in a day.
