Summary: Amazing
Review: How can i describe Exodus? This was absolutely my favorite books. Ari, Kitty and others were always in my thoughts. They are still in my thoughts. I felt i knew each character personally and when one was killed I was in such shock and i felt that i have lost a loved one. How i loved this book. I plan on reading it atleast once every 6 monthes. After reading this book I have planned Hebrew lessons and I plan on studying abroad for a semester in Israel. How this book affected me i can't explain. It is a must read and it will be in your thoughts and heart for the rest of your life.

Summary: Simply the best!
Review: The first time I read this book I was 14. I'm now 51 and am buying my 4th copy since I've worn out the other three by reading it so often. This book makes you think about so many things each time you read it. If you've seen the movie, I suggest you read the book. There is so much more to the entire story that was left out of the movie.

Summary: A fabulous book!!!
Review: I read this book when I was 11 years old, and I found it very clear to read, with a great story and fascinating characters. It should be required reading!

Summary: This book has kept me interested from the beginning.
Review: I have read the book and also the comments of many of the reviews. I have never been able to understand the resentment for a group of people because of their ancestory. I understand better the plight of the Jewish people to have a place they can call home, especially since the rest of the "civilized world" wanted them irradicated. The British have always been so wishy washy when it comes to keeping their word. Just look at what the U S had to do to get their freedom. I was disappointed only in the fact that human behavior has not changed in the past two thousand years, look at Kosovo. I was truly interested in how the jewish people were able to fight for what they got, though the entire eastern hemisphere was against them. I am looking forward to reading other books about the rise of Israel.

Summary: The Best Book Ever
Review: Clearly designed to be read by Americans, Exodus presents the struggle for a Jewish state in Palestine and the difficult battle which was fought to claim it. It also explains the history of several of the main characters in depth, showing the horrible persecution they endured to fight for their homeland. This is a very suspenseful and informative story, with a heartbreaking end that will haunt the reader for months to come.

Summary: The best historical novel ever!
Review: Before reading this book, I thought that it would be another huge, boring story. Yet this was the best modern novel written about any piece of Jewish history! You laugh and cry as the characters meet with triumph and disaster. This is one of the best novels of all time.

Summary: Interesting but incomplete and very dated
Review: The book started off promisingly. However, in the last part, I think the author got tired of his characters. In fact, it seemed like once he began his descriptions of the war, he forgot about them. Then he figured that he had to do something with them to end the book and generally killed them off. There were a number of stereotypes that detracted from the story. I kept wondering why the Israelis hadn't taken over the country quicker (and more easily) if the Arabs were as cowardly, ignorant, superstitious and dirty as the author portrayed them.

Summary: Change of mind!
Review: In the beginning I was assigned to read this book before high school started. When I bought it from amazon and had it in my I hand; I thought it was gonna suck big time. But after I read it I changed my mind It is really good, even though the beginning is a little slow.
