Summary: GANGSTA
Review: THIS BOOK WIHTOUT A QUESTION IS A "MUST READ". ANYONE THAT SAID ANYTHING NEGATIVE ABOUT THIS BOOK, SAID IT BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T UNDERSTAND THE BOOK AND THE LANGUAGE WAS JUST TOO GANGSTA TO UNDERSTAND. WHICH CAN BE A PROBLEM DEPENDING WHERE THE READER IS COMING FROM..A SMART READER WOULDN'T HAVE A PROBLEM READING ANY TYPE OF BOOK. BUT IF YOU DON'T GET SOMETHING, READ IT AGAIN..." READING IS FUNDAMENTAL" REMEMBER THAT QUOTE....
THE CHARACTER ARE GREAT. LOU-LOC WAS ONE OF THE CHARACTER THAT A LOT OF MAN CAN RELATE. THE CHARACTER OF CROSS BLEW MY MIND AWAY, NEVER IN TRIPPLE CROWN PUBLICATION HAVE I READ SOMETHING LIKE HIM. KWAN REALLY USED HIS IMAGINATION WITH CROSS. TO UNDERSTAND THIS CHARACTER NATURE YOU WILL HAVE TO DO A LIL OF RESEARCH DUE TO THE FACT THAT ONE WORD WILL TELL YOU WHAT CROSS REALLY IS. I WAS SOOOO SURPRISE TO SEE THIS KIND OF WRITING WITH THIS CHARACTER IN THIS BOOK....THE BOOK WAS GREAT, BUT CROSS LET ME TO A MUCH HIGHER RESPECT FOR THE AUTHOR JUST FOR PUTTING HIS CREATIVITY DOWN.....THAT WAS GANGSTA

Summary: Great Book
Review: This book was so good that I finished it in just one day. I loved the fact that the author kept it real throughout the book making the whole experience believable.

Summary: Tissues, please????
Review: K'wan has written a heated novel that keeps you curious as to what will happen next. Lou-loc & Satin tried - but the deck was stacked against them from the beginning. The revenge that Gutter ultimately got for his brother was sweet. This book is a page turner from page one. I really enjoyed the character of Cross - MUCH creativity on that one! Mega respect to you, K'wan for your work - you laid it down!....a HIGHLY recommended book for all to read.

Summary: GRIPPING..HA HA
Review: That's the word they use to describe movies..right? I liked this book. It's an urban tradgey but I liked it. Most women encounter a Lou-Loc in their lifetime. They probably just choose not to date is ass. This was one of those "i gotta get to the end" books. I loved the plot and it kept me wanting more. I cried at the end (call me a sucker for love)but this was a good read. Triple crown did it again

Summary: a really good book!
Review: when i first started the book i was like this is wack and even after i was done i was like it was ok. but then i sat down and read it again and me being from cali and moving to the east coast made me understand what they were talking about. in cali gangs are taken more seriously then on the east coast when i moved here looked at the gangs as a big joke and i still do sometimes cuz i see if the were to go to the west coast they would not be livin right now. so this is the type of book that you have to understand where the person is coming from.

Summary: Just okay, don't expect much and you won't be disappointed
Review: Well first of all, there are some real gang references in here. over the top stuff that i thought ceased to exist after colors the movie and NWA's straight outta compton. its hard for me to believe that gangs are still this strong on the streets. you have to read it to judge for yourself but clearly this book is written from a crips perspective. it kind of dogged bloods so i wondered if the writer had other ulterior motives. i didnt feel compassion at all for these sketchy characters. i am embarrassed i made such a big deal for my local Borders to stock this book only to find it to be an okay read and as noted before in DESPERATE need of a spell check program. it boasts of such fashions as "pradda" and "dolce grabbana". i'm serious yall the editors' pay should be docked!! the story was unbelievable enough a la carte but throw in some seedy hardcore gangbangers, some scandalous dominican chics and 'El Diablo' plus a mock black panther islamic nation and what you are left with is the feeling you just read a story that you or I could have easily written better ourselves :)
