Review: DON'T GET ME WRONG I ENJOYED THE BOOK. ACTUALLY READ IT IN 3 DAYS. HOWEVER I THINK THIS IS SUCH A LAME STORYLINE. GANGSTA WANTS OUT, MEETS A GOOD GIRL, AND THEN THE UNTHINKABLE. THIS IS A TYPICAL GANGSTER WHO WANTS ANYTHING OUT OF LIFE. I THINK OTHER CHARACTERS WERE A LITTLE MORE DEVELOPED THAN LOU & SATIN WERE, SUCH AS LOU'S BABY MAMA. THE ONLY THING LOU KNEW WAS TO DEFEND HIMSELF WHEN SITUATIONS GOT HEATED. ALTHOUGH WITH THAT SAID, IT WAS EXTREMELY HEARTBREAKING AS THE ENDING CAME UP. I WOULD RECOMMEND IT, BUT DON'T EXPECT ANY MIRACLES

Review: My 2nd review of a book. This book was just what I titled the review. I read this book in one day. Grant it there were many typo's, which usually stops me from completeing a book, but the story line kept me into it. You cant hope but falling in love with Lou Loc, he has the drive and determination to get out of the game. K-Wan, another author who I say put it down really straight. This is a must read, and if you dont know the game this book will give you some insight as to what the ballers and gangbangers go thru. Note::: the first 4 chapters are so so,, but chapter 5 til the end is very explosive.

Review: This book was one of the greatest books I have read in 2003. I mean I read it in like 2 days. I say this I hope a movie will be made from this book. K'wan is a truly talented blessed brother who tells the whole story. I have lent this book to several people and they are like damn, damn, damn.....I would advise anyone to read this u won't be sorry. I can't wait for his next joint to drop because trust me I will be first on line, rollers still in hair, slippers on that's right the first in line......wooooooooooooooooooo

Review: This novel is fantastic! If you haven't heard about this book. Let me me the first to tell you, you have to read it. The storyline comes to life, the characters will appear before your very eyes. The author, is a true writer. You got skills. Keep up the good work. I'll be looking to hearing from you.

Summary: These Gangsta Stories,,,What Can I Say?
Review: I loved this book. It is now amongst one of my favorites. Lou-Loc was a good-girl's dream-the baddest bad-boy you would ever know. I laughed at his slyness, rooted for him to win the girl and the battle he fought within himself. It killed me to end the book so tragically, left with my own emptiness because even in a sequel my Ghetto Prince in Blue would not be coming back. Read it and fall for Lou-Loc too.

Review: The book in my opinion was a page-turner. The grammar and usage was poor but for the most part, the author got the story and point across. Sometimes it read like a book and other times like a movie or something. A gruesome tale of real life. Will read the next book.

Summary: GOOD for a first REAL novel- Straight Gansta!
Review: I loved this book only because I fell in love with Lou-Loc. He had my heart and I wanted so bad to see him succeed. I mean I'm not the type of girl that will get involved with a guy whose a GANSTA/HUSTLER. Thats not my type because I trully believe what comes around goes around and I'm glad I read this book so that I won't forget it. I love the fact that HARLEM was represented but I hate the fact that the book made it seem "gang infested." Eventhough some parts were getting annoying because I hate this BLOODS/CRIP b.s., I was too into Lou-Loc because of his drive and determination to get out of the "GAME" and I will always support those who are trying to get out but just hope you make it further than Lou-Loc. PEOPLE MUST READ THIS BOOK! K'wan keep writing.

Summary: A Dose Of Urban Reality
Review: Gangsta by K'wan is more than mere words. The power behind this art is so intense. Lou Loc the character he unleashes has it all and yet again he has nothing. He's literally torn between two lives and the reality of it is when he decides to live righteously the golden rule catches up to him! Now that was a hook! All during this book you're turning the page and you're just as conflicted because one minute you're afraid of bumping into him and the next you're holding your arms out for him. Unfortunately the reality of this novel is so personal you can feel yourself banging with him, you can feel all the hurt and resentment, and you also feel the love Lou Loc is "BLUE".

Review: I'd say if you like suspense & thrills. Read this book. At 1st, I didn't know if I wanted to read this book. Not my usual type of read. However, I'm glad I did! I would have missed a really good story w/ many twist & turns. I will say the editing was poorly done. When I finished this book......I felt like I had just finished watching a movie! How many books have that effect! Buy it!
