Summary: Shannon Holmes, you go boy!
Review: I thought this book was good, it had a little to much slang for me but I still got into neverless. Tender and Goldie seem cool, but Kat was off the hook, no good hussy. She was a straight up B****! She did Tender and especially Goldie dead wrong. I just wished the ending was better. Goldie leaving the story like she did was messed up. But Kat trifling, two faced butt got what was coming. Tender you go girl, do you! Mr. Holmes keep writing and I will keep reading them!

Summary: Good Book
Review: I am not going to say that this book is true to life and since it is fiction it had to be read with a grain of salt, but I will say that this book let me into a little bit of a stripper's world.Mr. Holmes constructed this book very gritty and very raw. I can tell that he was telling his story just like you would be listening to someone telling it on the street corner and that is what made is very real. One of the characters in the book was name Kat (I couldn't stand that b----). She was straight up wrong to Tender and Goldie. She was up in the book trying to act like a straight dude and my saying goes....act like a nugga, get it like a nugga!!! If you want to read a book about paper chasers, raw sex and revenge this is the one for you. Later!!!!

Review: Alright now,I know we all are entitled to our own opinion, butdang! y'all dogged my man out,now I will be honest, it did remind me of players club, but it was even more compelling and real than that, if you read in the book Mr. Holmes wrote this on behalf of the stories he heard while incarcenated. Now...I wouldnt say the book was his best but it was mos def GOOD! Wake Up yall its reality this type of stuff exist!, I dont know if yall live in fairy land, butim from the hood,andI know how maniplutive, and deciving the game, and females could be. Mr. Homles you hit home with this and Kat Got what she deserved, what comes around goes around. Now I mos def recommend this book! go cop it, and Mr. Holmes keep doing ya thing,im a REAL fan of you and your production, all though the editing isnt great the stories sure are!

Summary: Disappointing!!!!!!!!!!
Review: I was very disappointed in this book. If you are into the stipper thing maybe this would be okay for you. But because I have read other stuff by Mr.Holmes I know he can do better. This book had to much violence and I thought that Kat was just plain evil. I know there really are Kat's in the world but I believe (at least I want to believe) that most of us could see a person like her from far away. I am not knocking the hustle of stripping but I just thought the story was a little much.

Review: its THE PLAYERS CLUB DANGIT, THATS WHERE!!! after the first chapter its clear that the story of such strippers would have to be alot more visual. i couldnt picture these girls being so fly, so street smart and so dumb all at one. it leads me to think that g-string divas is as creative as it gets for the world of the stripper. we all know there is a certain element of danger involving being a stripper, duh, but what nobody told me is how risky it can be to mess with a hip hop record execs baby mama. now that mess can get you killed for no reason!!!! this book was not all that, it was not the bomb but if you insist, go ahead and read it and get it over with. come back to amazon and agree with my review :)

THIS BOOK TOUCHED ME WHETHER IT WAS "EBONICALLY" WRITTEN OR WHATEVER ANYONE CALLS IT. THIS BOOK WAS ABOUT AS REAL AS IT GETS. PLAYERS CLUB HAS NOTHIN ON THIS. MY OPINION, KAT GOT WHAT CAME TO HER AND BIG UPS TO TENDER FOR SURVIVIN THE HOOD. I DID CRY READING THIS BOOK BECAUSE GOLDIE GOT DOGGED THATS WHY KAT GOT WHAT SHE DESERVED. BUT SHANNON KEEP ON WRITING CAUSE I WILL CONTINUE TO BUY T.C BOOKS. YES I RECOMMEND THIS BOOK FOR ALL THAT HAVE AN IMAGINATION WHEN IT COMES TO READING.

Review: this book was great. It tells a story of what people go through everyday, and they can relate to it. I almost cried because of some of the things she had to go through.

Summary: Book waz Al'rite.......
Review: The book started off real interesting, and maybe that's why it had it's down fall some. Cause usually when a book starts off good, it ends up slowing down or being boring all together. Shannon Holmes is a great writer 'B-More Careful' is a great example. But with this book it seems like he didn't take all that much time with it, but of course, he'll have a comeback, as great of writer he is.

Summary: Love Ya Tender!!! You Go Girl!!!
Review: My wife and I read this book from the jump off. It was Tight! Jump off (from the beginning to the end). Tight meaning it was a well put together story-line, which some people can relate to. Someone not brought up in the streets might not be able to relate. Some people don't know what it is like in anothers shoes. Tender went through a lot, from the sexual assualt in the start of the book to the physical assault in the end of the book. It also gives some reason as to why some women go into stripping.
