Summary: Outstanding book of courage and hope
Review: The story of Max is absolutely stunning! This book too is just a constant reminder of how far (which is way too far) that man wants to go in genetic engineering. Frannie O'Neill and Kit Harrison are excellent characters showing the best of human struggle, survival, and the inate believe that truth should be known. I am making this rather brief, as I really think that EVERYONE should read "When The WInd Blows" by James Patterson, just to fuel their imagination, their hope, and sense of purpose! Relax and enjoy, may we all have wings one day! Way to go - Mr. Patterson! DO it again! :) A big thank you, and what a wonderful early Christmas present!

Summary: Bring back Alex Cross
Review: I too was also very disappointed in this book. I love James Patterson's books and was expecting something along the line of his previous stuff. This was very far fetched and when I finally put the book down, I was angry I had spent money on the book. I love being able to get into the characters and this was just to unrealistic for that to happen. Let's hope his next book gets back to his "sit on the edge of your seat" reading

Summary: First time reader not impressed.
Review: I got an advance reading copy of this book and began reading it almost immidiately; I had never read his work but had heard wonderful things about him. I was pretty disappointed but stuck with it all the way through as sometimes books tend to pick up at the end. But despite the occasional interesting couple of 2-page chapters, this book was a chore to finish and I'm a big fan of sci-fi; i got it a month before it was released and didn't finish it until long after it was on the shelves. With this being my first impression of James Patterson, I won't be jumping to read any of his others in the near future.

Summary: The book of the year
Review: I loved this book once I got into it. It was suspenseful and page-turning. This was the first book I've read of Patterson's but I will definetly read more. Patterson did a great job with the characters. Just when I thought I had it figured out--there was a twist and I was way off mark. The pages just kept turning!!

Summary: Fun......
Review: I have read all of James Patterson's serial killer books and I do agree that this a lot different. It was actually a lot like a Dean Koontz book. But I really enjoyed. I though it was a great idea and really fast pace reading adventure. I thought it was an very well written book.

Summary: For readers who are willing to accept the unexpected
Review: When I first began reading this novel I found myself questioning just how good, or interesting this book will turn out to be when one of the main characters has wings. I did not get discouraged though and kept reading on and found that this book offered insight into something few people think about; the future of humans, and human genetics in particular. I feel James Patterson should be commended on his effort of writing a novel that is outside the norm.

Summary: A true disappointment!
Review: This book was not worth the time I took to read it! Why a great suspense, mystery writer changes his formula and writes a disjointed, science fiction book, I do not know. Don't waste your time or money....

Summary: Very disapointing...wanted a scary book. Got a silly book
Review: After reading about the villians like Gary Soneji, I was certainly expecting a book that would raise the hairs on my neck. This book was silly, and did nothing to capture my interest, or even make me care (as it intended to)

Summary: I'd like to see the Movie!
Review: I thoroughly enjoyed every page of this book. I even had to make myself put it down just so I wouldn't finish it all in one day. I noticed there were some comments on the juvenile dialogue, but I feel that it was appropriate given the characters he created. Patterson became a little girl in this book -- how amazing! I am always astounded when an author can become such diverse characters as those James Patterson chooses. As for the plot, are we really so sure this couldn't happen or that it hasn't already?

Summary: ENTHRALLING READ
Review: This was my first read by Patterson, and everyone says the Alex Cross books are better; however, I thought this was a good read--highly unbelievable story, but captivating nonetheless...Would make an excellent film
