Summary: SUSPENSFUL
Review: In the beginning, I thought it was one of those typical street life stories, same ol' story line. But once I got into it I was hook, from the shoot outs to the court room scene in the end, it was all good. I just can't wait what's gonna happen in the next one. This book almost crept me out a bit.

Review: Many typos in the book, but it's exhilarating from beginning until the end!!!!! I can't wait until the sequel comes out. It's a must read!!!!! Bernard James a.k.a. Dutch is off the chain, you either love him or hate him. Teri Woods gets much props for this one!!!!!!! You wouldn't want the book to end. This needs to be turned into a movie. It really shows how the streets get down!!!!!!!

Summary: Gansta
Review: OK, I will say this book was Good. Since it is a triolgy that is why we are left hangin. Dutch enters the game at the tender age of 14 sweeping floors. He had a plan back then though. He wanted to be more than a hustla he wanted to be a ganstga. He wanted in on it all. In following him you can understand his voyage from a car thief to a gansta. It left me with a lot of questions. I guess I have to wait for the next book. The ending was kinda expected thus the reason for 4 stars.

Summary: Fair for a square
Review: Started slow to bring you into the story then it picked up and went Ba-zing, Ba-zaar! Dutch and his cutthroat crew were off the chain. It read more like a B movie of Boys in the hood.

I'd suggest you read the novel LUST OF THE FLESH by Beverly Roylat. This novel is one of the best I've ever read. It has it all -- lust, sex galore, murder, deceit, betrayal, suspense, mystery, romance. And it's written in storybook form that leaves you hanging on the edge of your seat. It's the best pageturner I've read in years with an enlightening message. This is truly a blockbuster novel.

Summary: True Gangtsaa
Review: Teri Woods is on top of her game; she does not bore you with rambling narrative. She hooks you from the start of this action-packed novel.

Dutch tells the story of how a young brother got in the game during childhood. Possessing street smarts along with superior intelligence, Dutch singlehandedly devised an intricate plan to rise up from the bottom of the food chain to become a major player. A force to be reckoned with, Dutch swiftly became one of the "big boys."

Dutch's character is depicted as being the strong and silent type as well as being devastatingly handsome. It was easy to love this character even though he'd resort to murder at the blink of an eye.

His mother could be blamed for his notion of surving the game at all costs because she raised him to have that attitude and was unforgiving when he made a mistake, slipped up and got knocked.

Without giving away too much of this edge-of-your-seat thriller, I'll suffice it to say I can't wait for the second part of this trilogy.

Review: Terri Woods has definitely "done the damn thing with this one!" I read the book in one day, or should I say eight hours. I could not put it down. Not only is the book both clearly and intelligently written, it's also captivating. I can not wait until the next one comes out. I found myself searching amazon.com for it! Excellent, Excellent book! Great work Terri, you should be proud! For you, I wish much peace and many blessings!
