Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister : A Novel

Summary: Slow storyline and rushed ending
Review: I was looking forward to this book but in the end, I was really disappointed. The action through 3/4 of the book moved at a snail's pace and then the end was rushed. The story was more about Iris than it was about Clara (which was fine and as it should be) but the end epilogue gave Iris a mere 2 paragraphs while Clara was talked about fo almost a page and a 1/2. The story was incomplete- What actually happened to each of the characters? Why in the world did the author, Gregory Maguire, end the book so bluntly? You can tell there's more but what happened to it?
I hope "Wicked" is better...
