Review: My gf introduced me to the works of John Irving. I started reading Garp, Son of the Circus, etc., and found them moderately interesting and enjoyable. Enough so that I decided to read all his books.

Then I read Owen Meany. What a fantastic book! The story and the characters are interesting, engaging, and knowable. I know this may sound trite, but you will be moved by this book, and you will love reading every word of it.

I think this should be included in the list of must-reads for high school students. Hell, anyone.
