Review: As I read this book, I felt I was there, with each character, as she related her life. I found myself in tears many times and thinking of the characters when I wasn't reading. Ms. Austin is a gifted writer with much to say. If you haven't read Fly Away, you should. It, too, is wonderful.

Review: Eve's Daughters chronicles the lives of four women over a span of 100 years, beginning in Germany in the late 1800s as a husband and wife immigrate to the U.S. Each woman in this novel as a powerful story, and each life reflects the generation before, yet all women are bound by a mysterious curse (hence the title). I have never read anything written by Lynn Austin before this novel, but this book was wonderful. From the moment I began the prologue, I knew I would like this book. All four women chronicled in the chapters face similar things that every woman encounters. Austin does not candy-coat life either or preach at the reader, like so many other Christian writers do. Her characters live realistic lives with ups and downs, laughter and tragedy, just like we all do. I was pleased to see that. I loved these characters, and I did not want the book to end. I look forward to reading more novels by Lynn Austin.

Review: I have never read a book that has made me think so deaply! I have never read a Lynn Austin book before, this is the first. I started it and I just couldn't put it down. I finished it about three days ago and I still can't seem to get it out of my mind. The people became so real to me, as if they were part of my family. I continue to feel the heartache and love for them. I keep having to remind myself that they are just fictional characters because they have become so real to me! I loved this book and would recommend it to anyone!!

Review: I have never read one of Austin's books, but I'm glad I did. This book was sad, uplifting, encouraging and so much more. The time spent in the details is apparant and you can see yourself in it. Read it, you will enjoy it and want more.

Summary: Every Christian Woman Should Read!
Review: I have read three of Lynn Austin's book and thus far, this is my favorite. She has weaved together so many different characters into one story and knows who she's writing about intimately. She is an excellent author in that she tells a story with such truth, timeliness and emotion. Your heart will be able to relate to so much in this book. A must read!

Summary: A Fanatastic Read
Review: I picked up this book and started reading on a Saturday evening and I finished the following Tuesday at 1 AM in the morning. This book was fantastic. It includes historical events and how they changed a family. Austin then goes on to show how the choice of one character affects everyone in her life. It also shows that a person needs to be true to their hearts and not make decisions based on what is expected of them. I highly recommend this book!

Review: I read this book for the first time this past summer and it is excellent!! For me, it was a bit difficult to keep all the characters straight towards the beginning but once I started to see the 'big picture' of the book, the characters fell into place. It was a very easy read, but very thought-provoking and well written. I definitely recommend this book since it has become one of my absolute favorites!!

Summary: A Book For Everyone
Review: I read this book from a suggestion from my mother's friend who thought I might enjoy. I was a bit slow to read it because I thought it would be dull and slow. But when I did finally get a hold of "Eve's Daughters" and started to read it, I was immediately hooked on it. It was as though I felt every heartache and joy with the four women (Louise, Emma, Grace, and Suzanne). It shows that even *one* sin can tear a family apart, no matter how hard you try to keep it hidden. This book is beautifully written and put together and I recommend it to anyone.
