And that's a quote from the book as Nouri Sommers is driving down the freeway, zooming closer to town, singing along to her favorite oldies-but-goodies channel blasting on the car radio, as the wind rips through her hair. Fun chapter! - Another fun chapter was when Nouri Sommers acted out a telephone message for a homicide detective as his former girlfriend was recording it on his message machine...GOOD STUFF! I really like it when a writer lets you know how much fun they are having writing their books, as it shows while you are reading it!

Summary: Early promise for this new writer
Review: Early in many ways. This author is still farely new on the scene as well as she is still in the beginning of the series itself. I had the pleasure of reading an advanced copy of this book from the author and although it is not typically what I pick up, the book features big romance, multi-characters (an index is important to help track), action and suspense. I feel her Lambert series, if given more word of mouth and mass marketing, would end up on many best seller lists. If the Lambert got placed in the right hands I wouldn't be surprised to see it as a four night CBS, NBC or ABC mini-series.

Summary: Suspenseful, Sexy, Fun!
Review: I liked this story. I thought it was suspenseful, sexy, and fun. My favorite parts of the story were when Nouri Sommers pretended to be asleep in the car when the handsome Boston police detective (Gabe Baldwin) was taking her to his cabin in the woods to keep her out of harms way, and when Nouri acted out (in a very sexy and suggestive way) a telephone message she had overheard for the detective as the female caller was leaving a message on the recording machine. I like this series a lot!

Summary: Fun...Fun...Fun...
Review: I thought Forbidden by V.T. Murray was great! So many men and so little time, Ha! I should be so lucky. I was given this book as a Birthday Gift (Had it on my Wish List.) I was sort of feeling a bit glooming about turning the big '40' -- Getting lost in someone else's world for awhile really helped chase away the blues. I thought this story was fun...fun...fun! Look forward to the remaining books in this writer's Lambert Series.

Review: I thought the on-going story in "The Lambert Series" shows a lot of promise. I like stories in the series 'type' books as a rule and so far have not been let down after reading all the books used in the creation of the one 'final' story leading up to the 'final outcome'in most of the books I have read. (I think I said that correctly!) Anyway, The Lambert Series by Victoria Murray seems to me like the final book should be very exciting. I have decided to go along for the (4) book ride and see where it takes me. So far, I have had a great ride with the series. I think you might enjoy coming along for the ride as well. Book-2 of this series "Forbidden" takes the reader deeper into the the very private life of a young billionairess by the name of Nouri Sommers.

Summary: Everything I Love In A Book Of This Nature!
Review: If you enjoy escaping reality for awhile then "FORBIDDEN" by colorful storyteller Victoria Murray is the book for you. I enjoyed my first visit to the pretend island paradise so much with book-one of the series, "Thief of Hearts" that I could hardly wait for my next visit with book-two, "Forbidden." Now I'd stop short of killing someone to get my hands on the last two books of the series, "Friendly Enemies" & "Le Fin." (Hint...hint...Ms. Murray hear my plea, please!) All joking aside I love this little four book mini-series. "Forbidden" supplies the reader with everything -- action, romance, suspense, and intrigue. I know if you give this writer's four-book series a chance you will quickly become one of her adoring fans too!

Review: Forbidden by Victoria Murray, I thought, was an entertaining story. After reading the first book of this writer's Lambert series, I was curious and ordered book two. I'm glad I did, it was that entertaining! Now I find myself looking forward to the third book in the series.I think this writer seems to improve with each book she writes. And I think she did a wonderful job putting the details together in this one. Congratulations Ms. Murray on a job well done!

Summary: Love The Sexual Tension Building Between...
Review: The Billionaire's Beautiful, Young Wife and The Sexy, Homicide Detective From Boston. What a fun story! I can not remember how long it has been since I have had the pleasure of reading such a fun story. The chemistry between Nouri Sommers and Gabe Baldwin was so moving at times, I actually felt a chill run up my spine on more than one occassion. The charming personality of the female lead character was created with so much real emotion that it was hard for me to keep remembering that this person was just the imagination of the writer. Super job in that department! I like the mix of humor, sexual tension and, drama in this writer's style. Very Unusual and nicely done. I anxiously look forward to book 3 of this delightful series.
