Rating: Summary: Can hardly wait for book 3 of this series! Review: I am really getting into this little 4 book series by Victoria Murray. So far, I have read books 1 & 2 and can hardly wait for the 3rd book FRIENDLY ENEMIES to arrive. I like the characters especially the herione, Nouri and I do hope she winds up with Clint (the man that secretly holds the key to her heart).
Rating: Summary: "love, Love, LOVE this book!" Review: I became a fan of this writer after reading Victoria's best-selling Thief of Hearts. I love this series and look forward to the next book. A series that seems to keep getting better and better. I like soap reads better than t.v. soaps so this series is right up my alley. If you are a soap kind of person then you are in for a treat with Victoria Murray's "Lambert" series.
Rating: Summary: I had too much fun with this book! Review: I just gotta tell you, I had too much fun with this book! Nonstop, page-turning, mystery, sexual tension, and fun. If you are into sexy stories with a subplot mystery then this is definately the book for you! Just ordered book 3 of this series and I am sooo looking forward to reading it!
Rating: Summary: Mezmerized! Review: I cannot believe how mezmerized I became while reading this story. As I was reading the book I felt as though I was a part of it somehow. I anxiously kept flipping the pages just to see what was going to happen next. I like the sensual dialogue and the storyline. Definately a soap I am now hooked on! Just ordered book 3 of the series.
Rating: Summary: Great Fantasy! Review: I think this writer's Lambert series is getting better and better. I'm having a lot of fun and look forward to my next trip to Lambert with book 3 of the series.
Rating: Summary: Whew, what a page-turner! Review: I am having a ball with this new series. Love the characters and the direction the plot of the story is taking me. If you are into getting lost in a good book that supplies the reader with hours of fun and entertainment then FORBIDDEN by Victoria Murray is the book for you! Now, onward to book 3.
Rating: Summary: What an exciting soap! Review: The Lambert saga continues with the 2nd of 4 books in this writer's series. And I love it. The attraction between Boston homicide detective Gabe Baldwin and the billionaire's wife Nouri Sommer is underway and I can hard stand the wait to see what happens between them in book 3.
Rating: Summary: A fantasy to get lost in! Review: I am a huge fan of this writer and I think she does a fine job in tying her 4 book Lambert series together. FORBIDDEN is a sizzling novel that draws the reader deeper into the life of the rich and shameful! Terrific job Victoria! Now I must get my hands on a copy of book 3 in this series!
Rating: Summary: So Much Better Then The First Installment! Review: This book was so much better then the first. I think it was because more care went into the editing and I was not derailed by typos so I was able to enjoy the story more. This is a continuation of the same characters from the first book. This was a fast paced soap opera with mystery of the two Lambert murders still unsolved. You met sexy (and my favorite) police detective Gabe Baldwin who seems to have a little more on the ball then say Clint, or Charles. Gabe is a reluctant protector to Nouri and do the sparks ever fly between these two. I can hardly wait until the third book is delivered to see if these two get together. I am glad to see that Ms. Murray has lived up to her potential. I was a little disappointed with "Thief of Hearts" but my faith has been restored with this title. There are still some typos but these are easily overlooked since there aren't many and they are few and far between. If you like drama, suspense, sex, and lust then you will enjoy this book.
Rating: Summary: What is grammar? Review: This book is so chocked full of grammatical, typographical and punctuation errors that I found myself re-reading just to figure out what I was reading. Example: "... when she wrapped those long legs around your waste ..." Then, there is the excessive use of descriptive character names instead of actual character names. Examples: "female detective's sexy body", "high powered attorney", etc. I found myself unable to identify with the character's name or form my own mental image of the character. I won't read another book by Victoria Taylor Murray....
