Review: Victoria doesn't miss a beat in this the second book in her Lambert series. The story takes up exactly where Thief of Hearts ended. Nouri has fallen in love, out of love, and in love again as her one week from hell continues to unfold. Both her husband and honey are now missing and she hasn't the first clue where to begin her search for them so she enlists the help from someone from her past to help her out. Private Investigator, Charles Mason. Nouri's first real man and now Charle's is the best private dick in the country "LITERALLY" !!! What a terrific book! I love this writer's sense of humor!!! Look forward to book three as the beat goes on!

FORBIDDEN as a romantic suspense is captivating mainly because the author skillfully avoids shallow, artificial contrivances. I thought FORBIDDEN was UNPUTDOWNABLE! A fun fastasy that had me glued to my seat through-out the evening. I fell in love with the heroine of this saga after reading the first book in this series and I look forward to reading the series to completion. I know you will too. The Lambert Series is both a romance story and a mystery story combined it is one dynamite soap opera !!
