Summary: Good love story
Review: This book is very different from Addicted, much more realistic up to a point. It's a classic love story w/some twists and turns to keep it interesting. Worth the read

Review: FIRST OFF THE BOOK IS NOT THAT BAD.
AFTER READING SHAME ON IT ALL AND

BUT NOT TOO SHORT, THIS BOOK IS ABOUT 2 SET

HIS FRIEND IS THE TOTALLY OPPOSITE. AND THE OTHER SET
OF FRIENDS IS TEMPEST AND JANESSA. TEMPEST IS JUST LIKE GEREN
SHE IS WAITNG FOR THE RIGHT MAN AND HER FRIEND IS SOMEWHAT
OF A HOOCHIE MOMMA. GEREN HOOKS UP WITH TEMPEST THEY FALL IN LOVE AND A LOT OF SECRETS COME OUT TO TEST THEIR LOVE AND JANESSAAND DEVONTE HOOK UP AND ALL THEIR RELATIONSHIP IS BASED ON IS PURE SEX UNTIL SOMETHING HAPPENS AND CHANGES ALL OF THAT DEVONTE NOT ONLY DOES NOT WANT TO SEE HER BUT HIS FRIENDSHIP WITH HIS BEST FRIEND GEREN BREAKS UP I THINK THE BOOK COULD HAVE ENDED MUCH BETTER BUT OVER ALL IT IS NOT THAT BAD.

Summary: The Heat Seekers
Review: OH MY GOD THIS BOOK WAS GOOD. I REALLY LIKE HOW THE AUTHOR ZANE DESCRIBES THE SCENES AND THE CHARACTERS IN HER NOVELS. THIS STORY WAS SO ROMANTIC AND THE ISSUES WERE SCARY, BUT REAL. I ALSO LIKE HOW THE FEMALE CHARACTERS SHOW SO MUCH LOVE FOR ONE ANOTHER, ZANE YOU KEEP ON DOING WHAT YOUR DOING.

Summary: It is okay-a bit disappointed
Review: I guess that I just expected a little more out of this book than I got. I was expecting HEAT SEEKING stuff but instead it was Luke warm.It is an okay book to pass time but not one that I would say that will have you thrilled page by page. The drama was okay and the romance was cool too, but in all I guess I just expected more.

Summary: Still Seeking
Review: Like a previous reviewer, I read Addicted and couldn't wait to read the rest of Zane's books. I was not enthralled when reading this book. I kept turning the pages hoping the story would pick up or that there would be some unpredictable twist on the next page, but the entire storyline was forseeable.

You know up front everything that's going to happen: ...

Geren's constant attempt to save every female character in the story is also very predictable.

Save your $$$$. Get this one at the library if you must read it!

Summary: There was no heat!
Review: When I read Addicted, I was like "I'm reading all of her books." Shame on it all didn't measure up to Addicted but I also read this one. To me it doesn't have enough imagination. Not enough drama.

Summary: Just the Right Touch
Review: The Heat Seekers is a tale of two couples that take very different paths down the road toward love and marriage. The protagonists, Tempest and Janessa are best friends. Both come from very different backgrounds but have been friends since childhood. Tempest is clearly Janessa's ticket to a more prosperous future. The crux of the plot begins when Janessa pesters Tempest to go to a nightclub and during this "mission of mercy" they both meet Mr. Right. Their names are Geren and Dvonte'. The Heat Seekers is based on the paths that the resulting relationships pursue.

Tempest and Geren struggle with guilt and misleading information but their relationship matures to the point where they can evolve themselves. Janessa and Dvonte's relationship is more hot and heavy and seems to sputter frequently to remain afloat. Reading this book makes you take an in-depth look at the foundations relationships are built upon along with the maturity levels of the two parties involved. The title of the book really hits home with the relationships portrayed in the book.

I think that Zane' is maturing as an author with this book. She is heralded as an up and coming literary figure in erotica and her books are reflective of some of that tone. The Heat Seekers is not packed with steamy love scenes as some of her books are. She has matured to demonstrate the feelings that the couples experienced rather than just raw acts. I wouldn't classify this book as erotica in any way. It is a romance novel, with a storybook ending. The Heat Seekers is a refreshing read.

Summary: Outstanding
Review: Zane has done it again. This book was wonderful and I finished it in one day. This is definitely a must read.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Not what I expected
Review: When I saw the title "The Heat Seekers" under Zane, I thought that there would be more scenes of sex and passion. Instead, there was just stories of how Janessa and Tempest are doing with their newfound loves and so forth. Then I became confused after the chapter of three months later, it showed that Tempest and Geren spent Christmas together, Janessa became pregnant, Geren proposed, and on their wedding night, Janessa gave birth. Tempest has stated that now even a year ago she had no one, and now she's getting married. The book stated that Janessa didn't find out that she was pregnant until later in the book. That's what confused me the most. Other than that, the book was alright. I finished it in three days, and that's beause I wanted to know what "all of the secrets" were. Zane has had much better books.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Halarious
Review: Zane's heatseekers was simply Halarious, the charachters came alive as I read each of them. It was funny, and sad and I just loved it.
