Summary: Fun and fast read!
Review: This is the third Zane book I've read and it's great. The plot has four main characters, two male & two female, and you get to know what each of them is thinking without detracting too much from the story. Sure, it's a little predictable but that doesn't make it any less intriguing. One thing I will say is that I'm surprised the more intimate scenes aren't more *detailed*, especially if you know how well Zane writes scenes like that. But other than that side note, it's a fine book and I highly recommend it.

Summary: Awesome!
Review: This book is great. It tells real life scenarios in life that young people go through. Zane character's were realistic. For all the single people out there, you should read this book. All the club hopping people should to. This is real life and Zane brought it.

Summary: In Search of a true Geren
Review: Heat Seekers was the first book I read by Zane. Can anyone who has read this book tell me how old Tempest and Janessa were?? Or a description of how they looked. It was hard for me to decide Tempest personality, at one point she was sweet and innocent and than she would act ghetto. Zane would start a heated scene with the two couples having sex and then just leave the reader hanging for more details. It was like she was teasing me. I did enjoy reading about Tempest and Gerens relationship .... I was gald to read that Tempest held out on Geren and didn't sleep with him on the first date. I really liked the respect that Geren showed to Tempest .. that was refreshing. But the ending seemed too fairy tale to me. But this book is worth buying even if the characters needed more details.

Summary: not what you think
Review: this is still a great book by Zane but it is not like the other books she has written this is a true love story not an erotic novel like her other books. I still think is worth reading it is a nice change.

Summary: So Boring I Almost Fell Asleep!
Review: Wow! I'm still in shock. After reading some of Zane's other books, I thought the least I'd get from this book was reliable entertainment. I understand her not wanting to simply focus on erotica all the time, but my goodness, just because you take out all of the explicit sex scences doesn't mean you have to take out the action or the laughs too. This was one of the most boring, disappointing books I've ever read. I feel a little better knowing that I at least purchased it at a discounted price.

Summary: Too much of a fairy tale
Review: Well the book started off well but as it got toward the end it started to be to good to be true. I would recommened the book but just to let them know that it is like a fairy tale

Summary: insightful look at young love
Review: In Washington DC, best friends Tempest and Janessa seek the respective brother who will be "the one". Both are tired of the losers they have collected over time. Dvonte and Geren are best buds, but their attitude towards women differ, as the former seeks any female in his bed while the latter is tired of the scene.

The two couples meet while doing the club scene and just like out of literature they seem to hit it off instantly with Geren and social worker Tempest as one duet, and Dvonte with Janessa as the other. While the first couple forge an adult relationship and tries to learn much about the other, the other duet dive into a sexual coupling in which the bed is the only meeting room. Will both twosomes make it or will the one that is 100% sex fail and take down through long time loyalties the more mature pairing?

This insightful look at young love works because Zane draws realistic characters who one moment gain reader empathy and in the next segue disdain for their cynicism about other players. The warm story line enables the audience to compare the two couples as the foursome exchange often-witty dialogue and as twosomes heated sex. However, beyond an entertaining close look at the twenty something crowd, the author never loses sight of the underlying theme that adults must act responsible and accountable to themselves and others.

Summary: My first taste of Zane -- So Sweet!
Review: A girlfriend was reading the book and asked me to read the intro sections to the female characters. Well, this white chick was on the floor.

I've since read three other Zane titles and can't wait to get my hands on more. Each book of hers is such a treat! For me they're like a box of gourmet chocolates. I've often found my fingers in more than one box at a time. You have absolutely got to sample Zane. Sleek, sexy, hilariously funny, intelligent and real. This is a great one to start with!

Summary: Yes There Is Hope For Love
Review: I thought the book was very good. It helped you to remember that true love & friendship come first, money, sex, etc, could wait if you really loved someone.

Summary: COLD WATERS
Review: The title is appropriate because the SEX is the strength of this book! In reading Zane's books her characters are all the same. Two sets of friends meet two sets of friends at a club. The set of friends who have their lives in the right direction are the two that hook up right! Geren and Tempest fall in lust with one another and they have some really good sex while trying to work in a relationship, she's kind of superficial which isn't cool seeing how her girl lives in the jects and she has no other friends! They both have secrets (HOW ORIGINAL FOR ZANE'S CHARACTERS!) She had an abortion and he's rich (what a twist!) Okay now their friends Janessa and Dvonte hook up but it's more for sex he's not trying to fall in love but she played herself from the beginning. The girl works for the post office and lives with her parents in the jects! WHY? Then he and his friend fall out because he's treating her shady apparently all the guys she's ever dated have treated her! Geren and Dvonte stop being friends because of these relationships. Geren and Tempest married and they take Janessa out the jects adopt a baby and have a baby and Dvonte finally comes around to see his baby. This was suppose to be a romance novel Geren did wash Tempest's hair that was romantic but the sex was more outlandish than passionate. I finished it because I started it.
