Review: I LIKE THE WAY ZANE PORTRAYS BOTH SIDES OF RELATIONSHIPS. HERE YOU HAVE TEMPEST WHO'S TIRED OF SORRY MEN AND THEN YOU HAVE GEREN WHO'S TIRED OF GOLD DIGGERS. WHEN THEY GET TOGETHER, SPARKS FLY. ON THE OTHER HAND YOU HAVE JANESSA WHO SAYS THAT SHE JUST WANTS TO HAVE SOME FUN AND THEN YOU HAVE DVONTE THAT REALLY DOES JUST WANT TO HAVE SOME FUN. AND WHEN THEY GET TOGETHER...LET'S JUST SAY A LITTLE MORE THAN SPARKS FLY. COULDN'T PUT THE BOOK DOWN, READ IT IN 3 DAYS.

Summary: Give me da heat
Review: There was nothing hot about this book at all. There was no steamy sex like it portrayed it would. All the of the characters were corny as all get out.Geren's secret was already revealed before you got to that point of the book and so was Tempest's, who he ended up marrying. Her bestfriend Janessa ended up having a baby by someone that resembled my sons' father (a deadbeat). By the ended up the book, homegurl seemed like she was getting ready to forgive him for all that dirt he did to her. This book was sooooo boring. Get it from the library....get it from the library. Later...

Summary: Heat Seekers???????????????
Review: First of all I want to know where this title came from... It seems as though two of the main characters have deep dark secrets- one of which is revealed in the cover of the book (YAWN) The other character's Big BAD Secret is not really all that big and certainly not bad, we are lead to think that once the secret is revealed, we will be shocked. Well I was not shocked, I was disappointed. This is my first time reading a full length Zane book, sure the foreplay scenes were steamy, but just when you think they are going to flame out of control, its all over. Mostly all you get is the foreplay, next thing you are reading is the next day or the character is reflecting on how good it was. Well the reader has to guess since Zane does not expand past the foreplay. Janessa's whole world revolves around her 'best friend'- after all she was unable to get a job, find a decent man, get around town, find an apartment, all without her friend. How realistic is that. The ending was predictable, and boring. There were a few snicker moments, but nothing hilariously funny. Basically a snoozer. This book should be checked out at the library. I don't know why ZANE is compared to Eric Jerome Dickey...

Summary: Not a Good Representation of Zane! Not at all!!
Review: Don't hold this book against Zane!!! This was a weak write for her. I think she was trying to break out of her genre! I don't know. But this book was so boring. The story was too cute. I was happy in the end. But it wasn't what I thought a book by Zane, and called the Heat Seekers would be about. It could be again because I compared everything to her first great write...Addicted. But anyway, this was more mainstream, more like everybody else! Not Zane.

Review: Come on this book sucked with a capital S! After reading "Addicted" which is my favorite book, PERIOD, and Shame on it all and Sex Chronicles this book was BOO-BOO and Pure Garbage and it all is because she strayed from her erotic story telling to tell a very cute and perfect love story, Please save it cause I don't want to hear it. This book is definately for Lovers Only!Be Warned this is NOTHING like "ADDICTED" if that is what you are looking for!

Summary: Hilarious!!!!
Review: This book has erotica and humor rolled all up into one novel. I found myself reading and just cracking up. The characters were great and got into some funny situations (i.e the wedding) those of you have read this know what I mean. I could barely read this book in public because people were wondering what I was laughing about. Of all the novels I had read of Zane so far, this one is my favorite. If you only read only one of her books I would definitely choose this one.
