Rating: Summary: Wet-your-pants HILARIOUS! Review: Having nothing to read one night, I went down the hall to see if I could borrow a book from my friend Lindsay. She asked me if I liked Shakespeare. I replied that I did. She asked my if I liked Monty Python. Again, I replied in the affirmative. She pulled this book-The RSC's Complete Works of Shakespeare (abridged)-off her shelf and handed it to me. Approximately one minute later, I was doubling over in paroxysms of laughter. This is a fantastic book full of vomit, bad Scottish accents, and insightful footnotes. I highly recommend it!
Rating: Summary: THE BEST PLAY WRITTEN SINCE...UH...EVER! Review: Having the ultimate privilige to play the ingenious Daniel Singer in the local production of this play, I must say that this play is undoubtedly the most hilarious thing I have ever read. I can still remember my favorite joke in the entire play..."My, lord. Act Two." "Genzutight." Long live the Bard! (Oh wait, he's already dead. Bummer.)
Rating: Summary: Great for creative, dramatic performers! Review: I am a actor and performer in high school and I often compete in the literary circuit. This piece alone has won me several awards. I recommend it to any aspiring actors who need a piece to start on or any established actors who need something new. It is also great for an entertaning read or for high school Shakespeare students who need a new twist on the Bard (especially the view of Hamlet as a meat allegory!)
Rating: Summary: IT MADE ME THE HAPPIEST PERSON FOR THE PAST 3 YEARS Review: I am an actor and I have been doing the show (Adam's parts) since November 1996 and I have to say that I have never been so happy in my life!!! And mainly because it is the first time a show stays on for so long in Portugal, which means that thanks to Daniel, Adam and Jess I am now part of the Portuguese Theatre History!!! Thank you and congratulations to the three of them!!! And to all readers: if you have not read this masterpiece, do it now!!! If you have not seen the show: come to Lisbon and you'll have a laugh!!! And we too!!!

Rating: Summary: The Funniest Thing Since Python Review: I have been a lover of Shakespeare all of my life, and I am the first to admit that when I was told by my loved ones that I was about to go see this show, I was extremely skeptical. Needless to say, my stomach was aching from laughter within the first ten minutes of this wonderful three man act. This is without a doubt, the funniest performance I have ever witnessed on or off stage. Bravo, to Adam, Jess, and Daniel for writing this unbelievably hilarious play.
Rating: Summary: More brilliant than the Bard? ABSOLUTELY! Review: I have seen the Reduced Shakespeare Company perform this play and these guys are absolutely hysterical! This book provides a side splitting look at Shakespeare in all his glory and wretched excess. Despise reading Shakespeare? Not to worry, as the RSC introduce you to Shakespeare in a variety of hilarious ways - via a cooking show, a football game, even a rap song! Indifferent to Shakespeare? Well, don't you worry either. The RSC cover the Bard's plays and sonnets in ways you'd never imagine, prior knowledge of the plot becomes unnecessary. Love reading Shakespeare? Then you'll still enjoy this book! Plus, there are brilliantly clever footnotes (I've always hated them before, but I loved these!), funny forewords and humorous pictures. This book is brilliant and funny and worth every penny!! Buy it!

Rating: Summary: The GrAtst Revw Evr Wrttn(Abriged) Review: I just recently finished a run of this show where I played the (famous) role of Adam(the groovy mule). Here, I learned the importance of Comik Tyming(as well as the spelling of words to make them fun-knee). Yen-knee-weigh, I take my hat off to Jess(if that is your real last name), because he has created a masterpiece for comedic theatre(including a dramatic part in Hamlet which made them clap for me every night). You cannot go wrong with this script and no one can read footnote 11 without busting out laughing(I actually made that up...I cannot just reach back into my long(awwwwyeah)-term memory and remember what it says...so just buy the damn, nay DARN thang and read it yo'self. THIS IS THE GREATEST AND MOST ENTERTAINING Sunday afternoon readin' and when people come to see it,they leave laughin' all the way to the car...then they look at their crappy car and wish it was a cool car and then they come back the next night to be cheered up again...only to be depressed and it's really a vicious circle of epiphanous laughter. Bravisimo to the writer(s?), you have created a literary masterpiece and it was the MOST fun onstage I've ever had. Thank you for giving me this experience.
Rating: Summary: I can't stop laughing! Review: I own a copy of the book and the video, and I can't get enough of either. The only thing funnier than seeing it performed is reading the script, and the only thing funnier than reading the script is reading the footnotes*. Bard buffs, read this and have a good laugh. *See footnotes on the phrase "But love . . . "
