Summary: A great collection of creepy tales wrapped around a main one
Review: This was a very good story. The first chapter is largely introductory but you learn about the legend of the old creepy Grussen place right in the first pages. As the story develops you are given a lot of the local "ghostly" lore of the swamplands around New Orleans and Louisiana wrapped around the story of a young man taking a halloween dare to go into this house at midnight on Halloween. The experiences of him and his three friends made my skin crawl. A great read in a dark room but by yourself, you just might get the heebie jeebies. I loved it.
