Review: This book has a photo of Yancy Butter on the front and back cover. The contents of the book has the feel of the comic book world. If you never saw the show or read the comics you would still enjoy the book. It works well has a stand alone piece.

If you like Michael Moorcock "Hawkmoon" or Chicks in Chainmail edited by Ester Friesner then you will like this book finding it a easy, interesting, entertaining read.

Mr. Miller does not choose to use the cast of characters many of us are familiar with. Instead he takes Sara Pezzini out of her normal turf, off her regular beat, pairing her with some unlikely allies-the Parthenon of voodoo gods and goddess, an adherent of voodoun, a Catholic Priest, the leader singer of a Goth band and his brother. Miller does an excellent job telling his story, portraying the character, setting the scene and hooking you into the story. The book is fast pace, creative, introspective, touch on Pezzini relation with the blade and leaves no loose ends.
