Rating: Summary: A fresh breath of science fantasy Review: Have you read a good science fantasy book lately!! This one is better. Not many authors can impress me with original material, but Norm has done it. Exciting development of characters that gains speed with every chapter, right to the end. A wonderful world where new creatures and people with powers fight and fall, live, love and die. A good book will come alive in your living room. This one was so alive, I still wonder if I'm on the right planet. I can hardly wait till my young son is old enough to understand what I am reading to him. Sticks and Stones will be one of the first "tales" he will remember. No questionable content just great fun. Norm, this one is on my top ten list, right up there with Tolkien. Thanks for a book EVERYONE needs to read!!!
Rating: Summary: Fantastic Fantasy Review: Our whole family loved this magic fantasy world. Social dilemmas, inter-species friendships, inner stregnth and outer power, intense relationships; are all a part of an enduring saga. I highly recommend this book for ages 7-13.
Rating: Summary: wow this is good. Review: Wow,this book is amazing it starts off slow but when it gets going it goes. This amazing tale brings the reader into a vast and incredible world of magic. I coudn't put it down and when i finished i was completly and uttterly mad, mad because it way to short. if you like the Harry Potter, lord of the rings, or any other captivating or interesting book you will love this.P.S. as of 11/03 I was the youngest person to read this book or so I was told from Norm himself.
