Summary: Eileen de Lisle's gripping saga
Review: I have just finished listening to the audio tape of Nine Betts Lane (read by Marie McCarthy) and was impressed by the way she brought the characters to life. I feel as though I know them all personally. When reading the book it made a refreshing change to have a gripping family saga that was not set in the north of England. Well done the author for doing something different! I am currently reading the sequel 'Inherited Fear' and once again find myself gripped by the twists and turns of the characters lives. The author has written a very clever sequel and I can't wait for the audio version to be released.
