Review: After reading One With The Hunger, I expected a great read. I didn't anticipate being glued to my computer while work went undone, mail unanaswered, and the front door and phone ignored. This book has it all, vampires, revenants, a fast paced plot,moment he gets what's coming, a seemingly irreconcilable romantic conflict, love scenes to fog your computer screen, a frantic race across England to standing stones on the moor,and a wercat thrown in for good measure. My only complaint is JC Wilder's books are over too soon. Can't wait for book three!

Review: I have not read this story and I'd love to but I'm absolutly not interested in sitting at a computer to read a story. I see no point in promoting this story in only one format. Too bad.

Summary: A Second Chance at a Once in a Lifetime Love...
Review: Jennifer Beaumont (whom we met in One with the Hunger) was determined to help Valentin beat Mikhail. When Mikhail kidnapped her good friend Miranda, Jennifer drew up her courage to face the horrible man who had ruined her life so many years ago by turning her into his revenant. Jennifer found that Mikhail hadn't changed a bit and left without Miranda, but her confrontation brought Conor "Mac" MacNaughten back into her life. Jennifer had broken Mac's heart years before by insisting that she didn't love him to save his life and keep him away from Mikhail, who would surely kill him. When Mac saw Jennifer again, he knew that he had never fallen out of love with her but still couldn't understand why she would choose Mikhail over him. Was it because Mac had no memories of his life as a child? And what did Mikhail know about his father who Mac had no memories of? As both Jennifer and Mac struggle to come to grips with the havoc Mikhail has created in their lives, the truth comes out and they start to fall in love again. Now, if only they can keep Mikhail from destroying their new chance at love...

Retribution is a pretty short "book", at 170 pages, if you enjoy vampire/werewolf/witch romances, though, this is a great series. My main complaint is that, just when you get to know and like the characters, the book is over. Mac was such a sexy hero that I definitely wanted to spend more time with him! Also, there are six books in this series and then Wilder just leaves the reader hanging so be aware that it is not complete. All of the books feed off of each other, but it is not necessary to read them in order (although they make a lot more sense if you do). They are available at much cheaper prices in ebook format. Keep an eye out and you can get all 6 for a pretty good deal, just remember that they are very short!
