Review: If you like the imagination of Stephen King, and love how Anne Rice pulls you into a story, then Harvest Moon will send you into a realm few have traveled to, and wanted to return. For his first novel, Hunter has a magical way of pulling a reader further and further into a story until it seems that you can feel the chills in the woods, hear the screams of ghosts in the mist, and agonize with torment as the characters move through their own pain. I read 3-4 books a month, from Star Wars to The Vampire Chronicles, and this book sucked me in faster than anything I've ever read in my life. Just when you think the story is coming to an end, a new twist takes the characters in a completely different direction, only to twist you again. The way that the author flows from one scene to the next, gives you the feeling that 'you' are the character moving through the pages. If you like dark fantasy and love wild imaginations this book is one of the best you will ever read. Guaranteed!

The suspense is awesome, leaving the reader eager and sometimes afraid to turn the page to see what is next. Wade is very detailed and descriptive making the characters jump out of the book and into your head. Look out you don't know who or what will sneak up on you. Buy this book if you like a good horror novel.
