Review: As science fiction is not a particular favorite of mine, I was pleasantly surprised with this novel and thoroughly enjoyed it. The characters are interesting and exciting, though I felt some of them could have been developed a bit more. The author's use of time travel was believable and not overdone, which I particularly liked; it made the story line even more interesting and allowed some interesting twists in the plot. The author stated that there is another in the series to follow, which I will definitely read. I appreciated the way this novel wrapped up the story and didn't leave me hanging to wait for book 2, yet left some things open, and kept my curiosity about the aliens piqued and wanting to read the second novel! All in all an easy read that's very entertaining and worthwhile!
