Rating: Summary: On The Edge! Review: Being an avid sci-fi/fantasy reader, I was a bit skeptical when a friend of mine suggested I purchase this book. True, I have always loved writers such as Steven King and H.P. Lovecraft, but I can never tell what will happen with a new writer. From the first moment I started reading, I knew I would be hooked. Brian Gardner has the innate ability to "paint a picture" so to speak and actually make you feel like you are a part of the shocking stories. From page 1 to 412 I was filled with chilling horror, wanting to close my eyes, yet knowing that I couldn't. My hat is off to Brian for a superb work. I can't wait until volume 2!
Rating: Summary: Great new author Review: Having just read a new novel, 'Tales Reborn in Blood by Brian Gardner.' I find this to be the makings of a great author. I enjoyed the whole book, but especially the story called Pigtails as it kept my attention from start to finish.

Rating: Summary: Amazing Work Review: I am a personal friend of Brian's, and I have read some of his future works. I found this book to be one of the best he has ever done. I got this book for christmas, and started reading it a few weeks ago. Now I am more than half way through it. I can't put it down! Brian has the amazing talent of being able to describe, in the best detail that I have ever seen, every event in the book. You feel as if you are in the book experiencing everything happening. I would reccomend this book for any serious horror, fantasy, or suspense reader out there. Way to go Brian!
Rating: Summary: A welcomed change Review: I have been an avid horror fan for all my life. I of course read all the ones people expect me to (King, Barker, Koontz, Rice, Z. Brite and Lovecraft) and some of the ones people rarely know, but have a great art for the genre (Carole Bugge, Kathleen C. Szaj, Timothy Hunt, Jack Snow and Aleister Crowley). Originally, A friend told me about this book and later, let me borrow his in order for me to read the first few pages to see if I liked it. I was blown away, insomuch, that i had read the first two short stories and didn't want to put it away.Even though I'm sure I will read my friends copy completely over at least twice before I receive my own, I give this a high recommendation for its fresh views, new ideas and flat out creativity. I look forward to Brian Gardner's next novel.
Rating: Summary: Garbage! Review: I picked up this book on a recommendation from who I thought was a friend, whom might not really even exist, I was hesitant on writing a review in fear of losing the friend, but in all fairness do not waste your money. I was really hoping for something from this book, being a first work I didn't expect something great, but at least to keep me interested. The review before this one is absolutely right, it is a clear case of plagiarism, put luke skywalker in a story with horror and such, the names he uses are not originals, seems he took from one story and pasted it with another and then a third, while reading, my mind kept drifting to the original works, amazon should pull this book.
Rating: Summary: THIS AUTHOR IS A PLAGIARIST Review: I really regret the fact that Amazon doesn't have a 0 stars option...because it was incredibly hard to "rate" this thing at all. I recently found this author's web site during a random web search and found that the following of my COPYRIGHTED writings are posted there and he claims them as his own (having changed a sentence here or there): AOHell Anyone Paying Attention Hate Heretics Magick & Karma Monkey Shines Perception Survey Says What If...? I Am a Diving Writer I would be highly surprised if this book is really his own work. I'm in the process of doing some research to find out if the remainder of the writings on his web site are actually his or if he's copied and pasted them from other web sites as well. If so, I intend to notify those authors as well that their work has been stolen. These are the type of people who make me ashamed to call myself "human." If my works aren't removed from his site within the next two days, I'm taking legal action!

Rating: Summary: Some Reviewers Make No Sense Review: Unlike many writers, I don't spend much time constantly checking up on reviews for my work, but after checking up on it today, I'm full of shock and bewilderment. The previous two reviews, by J Culkin and eris52323 are atounding in the area of absurd. eris52323, though claiming that work on my website is Plagerism, along with a list of items, then goes on to say that my book must clearly be Plagerisim as well, though he/she has never read the book. Am I the only one that sees how odd and stupid this statement is? Then J Culkin appears and does the whole 'I got it because of a friend that I don't know if I want to keep now' line and repeats that the work is clearly Plagerisim. In this I say, Prove It! If you are so confident that my work is someone elses, with just names changed or whatever, list those works and their writers so others, as well as myself, can look it up for ourselves. I do this in confidence knowing that my work is my own and not just a copy of someone else's material. And as for the charcters not being original, in what way do you mean?
I could go on, speculating things about these two people (or is it just the same person acting like someone else), but it would be pointless. I don't desire to get into a pissing contest with individuals who apparently have nothing else better to do then target me for no reason at all. And finally, if eris52323 can give me 1/2 star for never reading my work, i feel I have every right to give myself 5 stars in return.
