Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Another '60's flashback
Review: Furnival's book, Michael Row Your Boat Ashore,is testimony to the new reality of worthy titles being offered by the print on demand publishers such as Xlibris. This story like Philip Reiss' Time Echo, also published by Xlibris, will compel folks who still remember the events of the 'Sixties, like they were just yesterday,to enjoyable ruminations. Sub-plot transitions are not as smooth as they could be and there are, perhaps, too many new minor character introductions made rather hurriedly
which tend to take away from keeping things moving along
seamlessly. However, the ideas and issues presented to construct compelling characters works well and facilitates this novel's
originality. One should put this down as a must read.

After reading George Furnival's Michael Row Your Boat Ashore, one
can't help but conclude that all the story telling talent out
there is not being recognized by the major publishers these days.
