Review: I absolutly loved this book! This was my first book that I read by Anne Rice, and although I was a little hesitant at first, I was hooked from page one. The imagery is captivating! The story travels back and forth between the sweeping deserts of Egypt to high soceity England in the 18th century. I was also quite enamored by the immortal (and sexy) Ramses and the villianous Cleopatra. I can't wait until the sequel comes out! I hope that in the next installment, Ramses will exude even more sexiness, and perhaps, mold into the erotic character that he really is.
