Rating: Summary: Most well thought out horror book I have ever read Review: Fangs of the Serpent takes place thirty five years in the future. Everything about this book is very well thought out: the plot, the story line, the characters, the action-packed "scenes" (which are like watching a movie), and the monster.
The bad guy in this book is a billionaire who does not age. He is over one hundred years old, but looks like he's about thirty. He uses his massive financial and technological resources to create Elapidae Terminis, the snake which will end the word. Also known as the "super snake," thousands of these terrors are released in the sewers of Des Moines, Iowa. His ultimate objective is to depopulate the midwestern USA so he can buy up all the land and farm it by using a robotic workforce (food is a very precious commodity in the year 2040).
The snake is actually a mixture of existing animals, including a tai-pan, a brown tree snake and a rattlesnake. It reproduces like mad and hunts human beings for food. Oh, and it sucks blood, so it doesn't have to worry about having a food source that is too large to swallow (You can tell the author really knows his snakes!). This book is very well researched and thought out. I highly recommend it.
Rating: Summary: Fangs fangs and more fangs! Review: This book is set in the year 2040. A high-tech criminal mastermind turned terrorist decidedes to play god by creating his own breed of super snake with DNA alteration. The snake has the traits of a cobra, a brown tree snake, and it sucks blood. This enables it to hunt any size of prey it wants. Fangs of the Serpent moves at a very fast pace, and would be good for any person who likes or dislikes to read. There is never a dull moment, and something exciting happens in almost every paragraph.
Rating: Summary: Snakes rule! Review: This is a great book and well worth reading!
