Review: Get ready to think! Mr. Michels has created an interesting piece of fiction that consistently intrigues, horrifies, and invites his readers to view reality in unique ways. I liked the graphic detail and originality of the death scenes, for example (and not to give too much away) definitely one of my favorite death scenes deals with a school coach, a bar bathroom, and bodily fluids. Taboo maybe, BUT FRICKIN' GENIUS! Early on, the story is interesting enough but really starts to pick up a quarter of the way through the book when you find out something surprising about the protagonist, Patrick. Overall, I found it hard to put this book down and it proved not to disappoint at the end. Keep up the writing Mr. Michels!
