Summary: Pray for horror's future
Review: Crosier's style of writing is one that begs the question "How can someone so wordy find his way into print?" His idea, the classic Frankenstein story of a creation's conflict with it's creator, is presented in a somewhat novel manner, but this is not enough to redeem the book. Murky, plodding dialogue bogs down parts of the story as characters speak in unrealistic melodrama that makes it difficult for the reader to suspend his disbelief as one can easily do for Stephen King, Dean Koontz, or the better Clive Barker.

Crosier is young, however, and has shown initiative in having two novels available to the public at his age. The difficulty he will most likely face now is that of quality over quantity.

Were you to purchase this book, you would more than likely find yourself wondering what I did: If Crosier's goal is to write a movie of words, perhaps he should look into script writing rather than writing novels.

Review: I enjoyed this book a lot. one of the things i liked most about it was that it ventured far from what the traditional 'horror' novel is. actually, i wouldn't even know if i would classify it as a horror novel if it wasn't for certain aspects. There certainly was a lot more insight than most horror. crosier's writing style is quick and punchy. one thing, however: it was a little [pricey] for no longer than it was

Summary: fun book
Review: This was an exciting book. I enjoyed the concept and thought that it was a unique type of horror. there did seem to be a lot of typo's and Crosier's writing style seemed to be somewhat wordy at times. but overall, I would highly suggest it!
