Review: I truly enjoyed reading Beware the Leaven. It is a terrific story containing not only lots of vampire lore but also some interesting twists involving people and places not normally associated with "The Undead". I couldn't put it down - I rooted for the good guys and let the bad guys send those shivers down my spine! A very good read.

Summary: Nice Try
Review: Vanore's premise is excellent and he's obviously familiar with the Vampire genre but I found the writing lacking a certain "bite." This self-published novel (iUniverse) could've given us so much more. Anne Rice has nothing to worry about here.
