Rating: Summary: Thriller Suspense Read Review: It is a mystery/horror/thriller/suspense young adult book. Honestly I read this about 10 years ago and the details are extremely fuzzy because it turned out to be not a great read. As in it was not one I would read again, and did not really enjoy reading it the first time. It had some gore, though the worst was mostly in the imagination of the characters.
Summary of what I remember: Big flood, washes up a coffin near a small town, there is some kind of evil in the coffin, when the coffin gets opened the evil is released, and so our characters have to figure this out and put the evil back where it came from. Characters are typical great looking high school teenagers that are dating, 1-2 couples.
Who I would recommend read this: I think middle school age boys would like this since it is action packed. Older guys and girls might like it if they have a sheltered life or just really into slight horror or jaws-like suspense books and want a short one to read. For the most part I would say skip this book, it is not worth the time to read it since you will neither remember it with any feeling or ever want to read it again. Though a great book to give kids you don't know since you should find it cheap and it kinda hits all the major themes of young adult books.
