Review: Can anybody tell me why Graham Masterton is not well known?. I have read hundreds of books and Masterton has to be one of the greatest Authors I have ever encounted. I read Black Angel when I was 18, and I can honestly say it is the only book I have ever read that seriously scared me. I mean I couldn't sleep, I was prowling about the house, looking behind doors, and checking locks. Increadibly graphic, Masterton describes scenes of mutilation and torture so vividly, you actually feel it, I mean it is a struggle to read through it, but even though it is so disturbing you can't stop yourself, you just have to find out what is going to happen next. Masterton combines mystery, magic, sex and fear in a spellbinding way that will leave you begging for more and at the same time, cursing him for scaring you so bad. Satanically good.
