Rating: Summary: What a book! Review: Just when you thought that the reluctant hero was too overdone to be redone, here he is in a totally new context. Defintely a page-turner... once you get to the end of chapter one, you're in for the long haul. Get the hardcover -- it's well worth it.
Rating: Summary: Inventive and imaginative-a must read! Review: Oh, where to start! First off, when I was handed this book I was a little intimidated because itÕs SO big-three weeks later I found myself wishing it didnÕt end! The characters were so well crafted they became part of my real life. I actually quote Don and Caitlin alot! ÒNever turn down a gift of cherry pie,Ó I say when someone offers me something. I fell asleep while reading one night and woke up, surprised it stopped raining-well, the rain was in the book and NOT in real life! I think this is what I liked best about this book. I feel as if these wonderful characters are part of my life now, and me part of theirs. Another thing I like is that I feel comfortable about handing this book to my little brother (heÕs thirteen). IÕve been trying to get him interested in reading because reading is the most important skill anyone can develop. Like Caitlin said about the Dreamscape, ÒThe more you do it, the better you get.Ó Books like this will really help him get those reading skills (and interest in reading) up and running. Waiting for the sequelÉ Lisa Jennings
