Rating: Summary: *Underground Vampires* Review: A Horror readers treat, I loved this tale of quenching horror. A terrific nonstop, diary of a city filled with thirsty vampires, and a woman accepting her own mutation. The writing is tight and satisfying, and definitely worth another read.

Rating: Summary: AN UNUSUAL VAMPIRE TALE Review: An out of the night, terrific nonstop vampire book, about a city filled with thirsty vampires, and a woman accepting her own mutation. The writing is unique and satisfying, rare for collaborating authors. Even though, there are several curves to Relative blood, it's wonderful horror fiction that should be recognized. The characterization was life like, along with a truly satisfying ending that had me wanting more. I hope to see future writings by Rutherford and Sanders, they're definitely worth the read.
Rating: Summary: Relative Crap Review: I normally enjoy a good horror story, but this was just crap. I can take a book with shallow and poorly thought out characters if the plot is good; and I can take a book with a thin plot if the characters are compelling and interesting. Unfortunately, this book has neither. I couldn't get past chapter 6 due to the absolutely terrible grammatical and spelling errors (I'm very glad I didn't pay for the book). I can't believe that so many OBVIOUS errors (things like imprper use of apostrophes and homonyms) were missed by at least two authors and an editor. Plot points seemed to be missing from the story; characters would be referred to as alive in one paragraph and their death would be referred to in the past tense in the next. Don't waste your money on this book, unless you need kindling for your fireplace.
Rating: Summary: A Conventionnal Twist Review: Rutherford & Sanders put a new twist on the conventional view of vampires. With a surprise at every paragraph, Relative Blood is sure to spark the imagination of its readers. With its use of sophisticated language and passionately detailed and defined images, Rutherford & Sanders MUST be put among the ranks of Anne Rice and Bram Stoker. With each storyline flowing into the next, it's hard to consider that it was co-written. The graphic images throughout the novel illustrate the story, while still letting the reader imagine their own idea of what the city and people appear to be like. The book ends, but not the story, which leads me to wonder when the sequel will be coming out.

Rating: Summary: A Chilling Read........ Review: The story is as compelling as any 'Anne Rice' novel, and should not be missed. Cause: unexpected violence that encases these pages, and strobes the mind with lightning, it blinds the reader's thoughts. Effect: another page turner. A great success for a first attempt in battling the pro-writing world.

Rating: Summary: A Great Vampire Horror story Review: This is a great horror, despite what the past reviewed reader below thought. All novels have errors dude. Example, (things like imprper use of apostrophes and homonyms)* check out his spelling of improper*. The editor's are usually to blame. How could you someone know the Plot points if they only read to Chapter 6. Readers of horror disregard the previous reviewer, he doesn't know good horror, just take a look at his wish list and you'll see. Trust me Relative Blood is worth the read...
