Essays from the column on At The Worlds End are included as are interviews recently conducted with the authors. Introduction by HUGH LAMB. This is the complete Maynard-Sims story to 2000. Features work never before published in USA. This unique compilation - One of a pair with the companion volume THE SECRET GEOGRAPHY OF NIGHTMARE - has stunning cover art from Geoffrey A Priest.

By the end of 2002 Len Maynard & Mick Sims will have been responsible for 40 books in the genre, as well as having numerous stories published in other people's books. Details can be found at the Maynard Sims website, Active Horror Writers Association members, their two hardback collections, Shadows At Midnight, 1979 and 1999, and Echoes Of Darkness, 2000, will be followed in 2002 by their third collection, Incantations, published by prime Books USA. These books and stories from them have gained Stoker recommendations and Honourable Mentions. 2001 saw Moths, their novella, available in USA. Their standalone novella The Hidden Language Of Demons is out in 2002 from prime Books, USA, and also out in 2002 are two collections of their stories, essays and interviews each containing 100,000 words - The Secret Geography Of Nightmare and Selling Dark Miracles - one introduced by Hugh Lamb and the other by Stephen Jones, the latter two from Cosmos Books USA. Their fourth collection, Falling Into Heaven, is completed, as is a short novel, The Seminar. As editors they produce Darkness Rising the USA anthology series, and are editing the retrospective anthology, Best Of Enigmatic Tales, and an original anthology, Cold Touch with William Simmons. As publishers they ran Enigmatic Press in the UK, which produced Enigmatic Tales, and its sister titles. They co-edit and publish F20 with David Howe for The British Fantasy Society. They are currently working on a novel, Shelter, a crime novel trilogy, and several stories.
