Review: This book was obviously written by a first-time author. The style is trite, the text riddled with typos and vampire cliches. The characters are dull and uninspired. This is a book written by someone enamored with Anne Rice and the world of her literary creations. Unfortunately adoration and imitation do not always translate into a worthy text, or in this case a cohesive work.
