Review: I picked this book up at a used book store, not really knowing anything about it. Overall, I'd say it was a competent and interesting horror novel, with some intriuging plot devices. Mr. Prouty needs to work on his character development a little, but I found this didn't distract from the book very much. On the whole, I'm glad I read it

Review: I tried and tried to get through this book but it just never seemed to pick up speed and the descriptions of the field were so lacking I didn't find it very scary at all. The plot seemed unorganized and I didn't find the main character very appealing. I couldn't finish it.
