Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Exceptional Horror Yarn
Review: H.M.S. Vanguard combines a fantastically well-written tale with illustrations creating an adventuresome tale for the reader.

This novel reminds be of the way good books used to be published! The story combines history and fiction making the reader feel he's standing aboard the Vanguard.

H.M.S. Vanguard is a remarkable story, whose 17 interior illustrations create a complete journey for readers, placing them aboard the decks of the H.M.S. Vanguard. I have to admit I purchased my copies of the book for the illustrations as much as for the well-told and extraordinary tale.

If you're a fan of vampire legends, you won't be disappointed with this novel. It's not the typical horror and mystery genre most vampire tales have fallen into. Its a fresh and exciting tale that takes the myth and legends of vampirism to a new realm.

The author possesses a unique storytelling ability, taking the reader back in time to the age of sailing men-of-war. Great reading!
