Summary: A VERY COMPELLING NOVEL
Review: This is the only book in my life that I was uable to put down. I read it through and wound up at 4 a.m. spellbound and awestruck by the excellent writing, the shocking story, the unexpected denouement that should make this dramatized true-life murder mystery a best seller as well as one helluva movie. I speak not merely as an avid reader but as a many-published author and screenwriter formerly with MGM. Barbara Harrington had better have more gems from her facile imagination to delight her readers. And anyone who did not like this book must be sorely lacking in literary appreciation (like one review that is so nit-picky one feels the reader should go back to Winnie the Pooh!) If you haven't read this, order a copy now! It's enthralling and I cannot say enough good things about GIVE HIM BACK TO GOD. It's great!

Summary: Fiery fiction!
Review: Whoever said "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned!" must have known Angela from GIVE HIM BACK TO GOD. She makes such convincing swings between the role of dutiful wife and jealous, vengeful vixen that I can't stand her, but in some strange way I sympathize with her (to a point). The fact that this book is based on a true story makes it all the more intriguing. The disturbing plot is bolstered by the everyday family problems that seem to cause and fuel each character's actions. It makes you wonder, could Angela and Vinnie be our next-door neighbors? Let's hope not!

Summary: Addresses Contraversial Issues
Review: Wow, what an extremely educational, inspirational and contraversial page turner. I literally couldn't sleep at night without finishing it to then end. It addresses the very contraversial issue of marraige and the catholic church which has little to do with celebacy and more to do with finance. Since the time of Christ, religious leaders married, had mistresses and at times multiple offspring which lead to large amounts of funds leaving the Vatican. Maybe it is time for a change whereby individuals, including women clergy would not have the delema of choosing faith or family.
